Naomi B. on Aug 25, 2021I recently moved into Kings Manor Apartments 8/16/2021 and I must say when you walk up to the property on the outside it looks clean and well kept up. Until you walk into the building(Looks can be deceiving). The inside of the building has a bunch of different smells that you can not penpoint what exactly that it is/where it is coming from. The carpet is beyond six years old and needs to be replaced. So far what I've experienced in my 1st week here is maintenance does not follow up or follow through with completing repairs in the unit. My unit was presented to me very nicely and I thank God and Jesus Christ for that, however their a few things that need to fixed that was not unit ready when I signed the lease and since being inside the unit the list is adding up. I understand its the middle of a pandemic and a lot of people are choosing not to work so it cause shortages however Kings Manor at least my unit is very very nice and the staff are genuinely nice However, I will withhold rent if things in my unit don't get fixed within a timely manner especially when I'm paying $1,100.00 in rent.

The public areas are clean on a regular. Convenient to downtown Minneapolis or downtown Hopkins. Close to highway 100 or highway 169. GREAT VALUE

Maintenance was great and solved our floor issue quickly, even during Covid. Overall a great place to be.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the apartments are pretty spacious with GREAT kitchens. Only downsides are the uncovered parking lot that doesn't seem to get plowed out very quickly in the winter, and the "fitness center" equipment has been broken for months.

I feel bad for the people that work so hard to keep everything clean and nice for the residents. It's an issue not just at this location. It happened a ton where I lived before. With it being cold I think it will be an ongoing issue.. I live by myself, so it can be a bit scary coming home from work or embarrassing when I have my mother come for visits. I do really love everything else and have no other issues. Just wondering if the entrances can be more secure on the outside...
