Mixed review, overall positive.

Overall I continue to live at Versus as I'm established in my place and the pros overall outweigh the cons. One of the highlights is certainly the concierge and security staff. I find the management to be one of downsides, they are fairly rigid and sometimes are illogical when it comes to some of the things they wish to regulate etc. Considering COVID and the increase in vacancy they were disappointing in incentives for residents to stay. Another positive would be the frequent cleaning in COVID times, the amenities area is a great bonus. The units themselves are well done, noise is ok. If a neighbour is blasting music at all hours security will come, if you call.

Moved Into East Tower

I've lived at Versus for 2 years and just moved from West into the East Tower. Overall, I've enjoyed my stay and Versus as a whole (building, residents, and staff) are great. That said, I do have a few things to point out as constructive feedback. Within the few days of moving to the East, I've already noticed a few differences that I had not experienced previously. The main complaint I have is that the covid-19 mandatory mask rules are not enforced in the East tower. While we are starting to ease back to life, this rule should still be enforced. 75% of people I've seen in the East tower do not wear masks. Many do not put their masks on when entering the building or even in the elevator until someone says something. Many guests don't even care, and the staff do not do anything about it. In the West, I hardly ever saw someone without a mask on, 100% people had masks on, it was great. It's crazy how different it is over here. Secondly, since there's no concierge or security at the front desk most of the time unlike the West, it is a lot harder to get your packages or help when needed. Thankfully Ryan is awesome and super helpful. It's as if the East tower is secondary to the West. I think not having staff at the front is also why mandatory rules like masks are not followed (no enforcement). Also the moving experience from the loading area was not ideal. To get into the moving elevator, there is an elevated entrance, which means you cannot use a cart to push/roll heavy furniture and have to carry it up a step. This is very inconvenient and I'm surprised there is no ramp available to help moving. There is also a giant door there that cannot be propped open. Lastly, elevators get so busy during moving and fire alarms situations. There needs to be a way to take the stairs up (e.g. scan to open the door). I understand safety reasons, but that will help a lot with resident experience.

Best service I've experienced in ten years of renting

The staff here are very kind and attentive, and maintenance actually gets done. Security does a great job, too, of addressing concerns, and cleaning staff have been very diligent with cleaning. I've enjoyed the company of my neighbors in book club, too! This is a lovely community to belong to.

Versus is great

Great apartment and location, staff is very helpful. My only beef is with maintenance as they do not respond when asked for help.
