Great apartment so far so good really excited

Good living no complaints. Staff is great especially Nissi concerierge. I feel they dont give enough credit to staff for beiing the best part about our living situation. She is part of the reason why we keep renewing.

We have been here for almost 6 months and we love it! Amenities are well kept, the kitchen is incredible and the staff is super friendly and helpfull. We enjoy the proximity to Hamilton Park and many local businesses.

My children and I love living here. The location is convenient to schools and NYC. Our neighbors are lovely and very respectful.

Excellent service but could improve applicant pricess

I have lived here for over a year now and have no issues. The amenities and staff are great, and its a great value for the apartment. I wish there was slightly more directly around the building but I knew that when I moved in. The shuttle to the PATH is a huge bonus and I use it almost daily. Would definitely recommend!

I lived in 12 different places during a period of 12 years and simply could not find a place to call home. And then I discovered Barclay Chase which has been my home for the past 5+ years. Now that I have been here for quite a long time, I cannot imagine living anywhere else. The property is well maintained and the staff have been amazing for any and all things which popped up during my time here. Like living anywhere, there are things which need to be fixed or replaced but the maintenance folks here take care of everything immediately. I consider myself a handyman, but the team here are absolutely great at their jobs so I have not touched my tools since I moved in, LOL Lastly, there is a wonderful community center which I would like to take advantage of. I just keep forgetting that there is a lovely clubhouse, an adequate gym and quite a nice pool within a short walking distance. And by the way, this is a dog friendly community with a few areas to walk your pups!

I love my apartment. It was a wuick and smooth process to apply and move in. Apartment is spacious and quiet for the most part.

We have lived here since the apartments were built. I believe we were the second tenants to move in. I hated the idea of moving from our house in Montclair where we had lived for 42 years and raised 7 kids. I'll confess it took me a while to accommodate, but now, having made friends with neighbors, and not having to walk down to the basement to do the laundry, I love living here. We went through a few glitches with managers over the years, but now there is a feeling of respect among everyone and all is working well. We enjoy the wooded setting, the proximity of the walking trail and the convenience of nearby stores. At the moment, there is no place I'd rather be.

Well mangaged, everyone is treated with respect. All rules are implemented by residents, amenities are clean and shared equally among residents.

Overall, living in the apartment has been a comfortable and pleasant experience. The space itself meets our needs well, and the location is great. However, there have been ongoing frustrations with the payment process — it's not ideal, but fortunately, these issues are fixable. One thing we’d love to see improved is the second-floor balcony area. Unlike other buildings in the area, it lacks amenities like a BBQ zone, greenery, and flowers. These were features originally promised when we first rented the apartment, and adding them would really elevate the shared space and enhance the community feel.
