It's great, but...

We have lived here since 2020. We love Diamond Field and could see ourselves here for a few years yet. That was until the rent started going up and up and up. Because of the insane rent increases and absolutely absurd fees, we will more than likely have to move out at the end of this lease because rent is completely unaffordable for us anymore. The monthly fees are ridiculous and bogus. Pet rent has increased from $25/month to $35 to now $50/month per pet. The units are very poorly insulated. Electric bill is insane during the winter, even when the thermostat stays on 66 degrees the entire season, and we need layers of clothes and blankets when we want to relax downstairs in our living room. Even closing all vents in the place and leaving one open downstairs will not help at all. Parking is OK. It gets very frustrating when people park in assigned spots and driveways that are not theirs, especially after hours when nobody is in office to help get it moved. Noise isn't bad at all. Motorcycles race up and down Veterans at the same time every single night during the warmer months, which is probably the most noise we get. Hearing people in neighboring units isn't too bad. Downstairs bathroom wall is paper thin and can hear children nonstop screaming and little dogs barking constantly, and people slamming their garage door shakes the entire wall, but other than that, it's very quiet. Management is fine, maintenance are very nice and usually on top of completing requests. If you don't have a truck, expect to be trapped on the property for a day or two when it snows a bit. With there only being one way in and out of the neighborhood, depending on city and property separately to get snow plowed can cause a day or two missed from work. We don't want to move, but because of the pricing going up $100+ every year it's getting to be too much and not worth it, and I refuse to pay for completely irrelevant fees. Otherwise, it's a great place.

Decent living

Decent living. Minimal noise between neighboring walls. Very bad draft comes through the front door and causes the energy bill to be an outrageous amount. Can hear traffic from arrowhead highway Overall, decent place to live but will not be renewing my lease and would opt out if the cost wasn't as much
