Unnecessary extra fees!

Unnecessary extra fees! They make you pay $25 a month for valet trash, whether you want it or not. I am single and don't go through that much trash, so this is a huge waste of money for me! I hate it! I am perfectly capable of taking my own trash out. $25 for 1-2 bags a month is not worth it! Also, they make you pay $15 a month for special package delivery. I very rarely receive packages, so again I am paying for something I am not using. I hate paying for things I don't need or use. Money is already tight, please let me choose if I want these services!

Alone

Nobody speaks to anyone here at all. I have had a broken washing machine, broken AC unit, busted lights, and sewage fill up my tub. It feels like a full time job to get anyone at the office to respond to my requests. I feel unheard and disrespected living here. I had better service living with 3 other roommates in a student living apartment. I really just feel like I pay too much money to live here to have you ignore my calls and never actually fix things JUST TO CHARGE MORE IN RENT?? Im not asking for luxury living, but at a baseline I should be able to get ahold of someone to come fix the lights in my kitchen without having to go throw a fit in the office. You all having the audacity to ask for more in rent after not doing anything at all is really just beyond me. I am 100% leaving at the end of my lease and would never recommend someone to live with Bell after the way I have been treated here. Trash is literally everywhere, my packages have been stolen, the gates have worked for all of 10 days while I have lived here, maintenance literally just half-asses everything or never comes, trash valet throws bags off the balcony and lets them explode on the ground. I work in the multi-family industry and the standards here are non-existent. Really appalling behavior from a landlord let alone a "business".

Too many extra fees

I have lived here 1 year now. The security gates have NEVER worked in this time. They almost worked once, then were broken again. This disappoints me as the security gates were one reason I chose to live here. Maintenance is fantastic! They come immediately to fix requests. Office staff has been friendly and helpful. I like that they occasionally have gatherings/parties There are two pools, which is a major reason I chose to live here. Unfortunately, the residents swim in their street clothes and break the filters and the pools always need maintenance. They do a good job of getting one pool open most days. But it's super annoying residents can't treat them better. More signs not allowing street clothes would be useful. I hate not knowing if I can plan to use the pool each day. Parking is completely dependent on which building you live in. Unfortunately I chose the wrong building. There is all covered parking around my building, which you have to pay for, and for which only a couple people do, so everyone else is fighting for the few uncovered free parking available. If I get home after 5 I have to park several buildings away. I wish they would tear down the covered parking because no one is using it so all these unused places are wasted. Two things I especially wish they would change is the Fetch and Valet trash. I don't use them and I hate spending $40 a month on unneeded services. Money is tight and rent is already expensive without adding extra fees for things I don't need or want or use. Please make this optional! I can take my own trash out- I am not that lazy. Besides, the service doesn't pick up my trash half the time I do try to use it. I use it maybe 1x a month, so paying $25 is ridiculous! I'm literally throwing money away. It makes me so mad. I rarely receive packages, so I hate paying for Fetch, too. Again, paying $15 for something I do not use at all is a huge waste of money. Please let us CHOOSE to use this and don't charge everyone not using it.
