Decent place but missed the mark on luxury amenities

It feels safe and its well maintained by maintenance and cleaning. Concierge is hit or miss, either stellar service (usually during the morning/day) or leaves something to be desired. There are no actual luxury amenities though. They added a new app but serviced arent complimentary. No roof top deck like the other places or pool. Nothing special about the courtyard. Apartment decor is very out of date. And the furnishings in the apartment are dated.

I lived here because I work in the hospital system. Very close and convenient location. Do not get a room that is over or near the garage. You will hear the trucks coming in every morning at 3 AM-5 AM. Garbage trucks and commercial trucks. (Like don't get a room that has windows looking onto saloniki). I was above the second floor I heard it, and it woke me up every single day. There is a mouse problem, so be aware of that--they reach all floors, even up to the 4th and 5th ones. The house staff is very responsive, however. Front desk is incredibly nice and accommodating. Maintenance is lightening speed. Once an order is in, they come and fix it immediately. Cleaning staff, maintenance, front desk and everyone who works here is the best part of this building. Amenities are ok...gym is ok--gets the job done. Overall--it was a good place to live that is convenient for work and getting around Boston. If I had to live for more than a year here, however, I probably would reconsider given the noise and pest control.

Okay, but other places at same cost have more amenities

I have lived here for two years now. It isn't bad, but it isn't comparable for other places in the area at the same cost. There are no amenities. Other places of the same cost have pools, rooftop lounges etc. The courtyard is nothing special, not like its set up for a outdoor kitchen area like the other places and really not proper places to sit outside or do work. The gym is small and nothing special. No large entertaining areas. Restaurant scene isn't too great either. The parking garage fees are astronomical and the company does nothing to protect its residents from the increased insane costs by VPNE. it went from 325 when I first moved here to 465 and thats the "discounted" rate. Most people are living here until they can find somewhere better for more. I wish I moved instead of extending my lease. Concierge was great the first year but now it can be hit or miss. there are some really great ones who i appreciate. Otherwise this is a very no frills/you don't get what you paid for type of building. Noise isolation is decent for Boston. The interior leaves a lot to be desired. a lot of wasted space due to poor floor planning and the fixtures/counters are lack luster. my cabinets fall off the hinges every month.
