Feeling secure and valued at a storage facility is so important, and it's wonderful to hear that you've found such a place. When the staff knows you by name and goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and taken care of, it really enhances the experience. Knowing that your belongings are in good hands and that you're treated with kindness and understanding can make all the difference. It sounds like you've found a trustworthy and reliable place to store your belongings! ... Read more

I want the owner/ supervisors name and # ? The older couple who use to work here were awesome. This new lady won't even return your calls and complain that she's busy. That's not on me, I'm busy when they calling me for payment because they forget to run my automatic payment but I still get back to them ??????? she also rudely said that if I didn't like the fact that they owe me money and haven't credit it to me than I can just leave. ?? Really? That's how you solve your problems? Asking people to just leave smh. ... Read more

Good prices for rental units. The place looks a bit rundown, using padlocks instead of the newer cylinder locks. Very poor lighting in hallways with that flickering look. Everything was timer light at the entryway versus more efficient sensors. I wouldn't recommend going there, but for others it might be a great value. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Extra Storage - 2305 Lemon Grove Avenue include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Multi-Level Storage and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
