Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 5950 Federal Blvd, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Quick update for Public Storage - 5950 Federal Blvd — Jenny deserves some recognition too. She’s always got a smile, always says hi, and just makes the place feel easy to deal with. I just checked out of my unit and the whole process was seamless. No drama, no confusion, just handled. It’s rare to see consistent customer service from multiple people at one location, but this spot has it. Jenny also deserves a raise. They’ve got a good team here. Donna at Public Storage - 5950 Federal Blvd is the real deal. I just moved in, and she made the whole process stupid easy. Super helpful, friendly, and actually knows what she’s doing — which is rare these days. This is the kind of customer service that makes you say, “Yeah, I’m staying here for a while.” If Public Storage is smart, they’ll give Donna a raise ASAP because she’s holding this place down. Ask for her if you come here — she’ll take care of you. ... Read more

It was very easy to reserve the space and go through the rental agreement online. Move-in was very easy as well. Donna, who was managing the office when I arrived to pick up my keys, explained everything and gave me a tour of the facility to make sure that I knew exactly where my space was and how to access it in the future. Highly recommend! ... Read more

The reviews here are way too high.....this place is theft/burglary/robbed monthly if not more. Your stuff is behind a thin sheet of drywall. There is zero security here. Not even an attempt. If you leave things here, IT WILL BE STOLEN. The walls are tissue paper. ... Read more

D'Angelo was amazing. I just got done checking out today and needed help carrying out a few items. He was more than happy to help, offering to carry out a few items that I otherwise would have had to make a second trip for. Him doing this was able to allow me to get to where I needed to be on time. Definitely the most positive experience I've had at a storage unit. ... Read more

Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 100 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 5950 Federal Blvd start from $108 and can go up to $310 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
