Horrible and Bad Maintenance

Moving in last year was a shock to say the least. From bad paint jobs with the “landlord special”, to the unfinished floorings and holes in the ground. There are spaces between the wood filled with mud and dirt. Because location is great I let it slide. over time, everything is falling apart. drawers in the kitchen are held together with shoe laces and broken plastic. Did they even check this before letting me move in? even with weekly cleaning, the caulk in the bathroom is deteriorating and yellowing after they “recently refinished the bathroom”. Not even the front door’s locks line up properly. the paint in the bathroom is quite literally peeling off and behind those layers? SAND. there is some sort of wall that is unfinished and crumbling away as it falls into bits, crumbs, and pieces. there is no proper air circulation in the bathroom either so it always smells like mold and mildew. The pipes reek of toilet water and bowel movements. no amount of air fresheners, bleaching surfaces, or cleaning everything out fixes the problem. it smells like sh*t all the time. even the layout is particularly annoying. random walls constrict you into a tight hallway that only a medium-to-small sized person can fit in. if you’re 150 lbs and up, tough luck, you can’t fit. to top it all off, maintenance and the property manager are nonexistent and SO fake. they come by to show a property and act like they’re friendly and reliable but when a problem occurs it takes an arm and a leg to even get a response, and almost impossible to get some sort of problem fixed. also, there are outlets that don’t work, outlets that are out of reach, and outlets that work, but are too loose to hold any type of plug into place leaving it unusable. don’t waste your money on an unkept house just to live by the beach. you’d think with this much money they make they could at least have decent renovated units. but they’re old, run down, falling apart, and impossible to feel clean in.
