After owning homes in Alexandria City for 45 years, I had to quickly find a rental apartment quickly. I'm grateful that I found the Clayborne! It has been such a positive experience with the management and building maintenance staff. LaTese, Bianca, and Barry have been so kind and generous, going above and beyond to make my transition easier here. It's a lovely building in an ideal location!

I've lived here for 6 years, and I like most everything. The management, maintenance group, neighbors, dogs, etc. I am working on it for marketing so people can move in here.... :0)

    5/5 David E. on Nov 7, 2023

Living here as been great for many reasons. PLENTY of parking, easy to get a visitor's pass 24/7 at only $3.00 a night, residential parking is $20 a month, parking lot patrolled security, etc. The amenities are robust. Multiple gyms, multiple pools, a manual car wash, grilling areas, pool tables, and the list goes on. This place is dog friendly and it seems like there are 100s of dogs here, HOWEVER, I NEVER hear them bark, so very dog-quiet. When it comes to maintenance, they are quick to respond. It may not get fixed right away, but the issue will get looked at within 48 hours or less (unless an emergency type situation). The location is great and a 15 minute walk to the Huntington Metro Station, however, M-F, there is a free shuttle that will take you there. When it comes to rent, the price is the best I could find, especially for the spacious units. Also, I just renewed my lease and I don't think my rent even went up, but if it did, it was so minimal I didn't even notice. This is a far off from when I was living in my home state and rent was raised every year by about 15%. Definitely recommend.
