Wonderful place to call home!

It has been wonderful living at the Modern for the past few months! All the residents and staff were so welcoming when we moved into the building. The amenities are amazing here and I love the resident events. The view is also spectacular so what more could you ask for?

Great staff, great apartments

The Modern is overall a great place to live. The staff is amazing and always willing to go above and beyond. The apartments are also great, I hardly ever hear any noise, great finishes, and floor to ceiling windows in every unit with great views. There are a few downsides though to life at The Modern. While there are some great amenities like a bar with a dedicated bartender Thurs-Sat, they are not always available to use. The gym is open 24hrs, but everything else closes at 10 pm, including on weekends; the conservatory (with a pool table, seating, and TV), and the 2 terraces. You are also supposed to rent out a tereace if you have more than 2 guests. So if you and your partner and another couple want to sit outside and enjoy the firepit, you’re supposed to rent, for not a nominal fee. The other major downside is that while the apartments are really nice, they are overpriced, and prices are increasing significantly. I occupy a 1 br apartment ~700 sqft. for over 3200 dollars a month before any utilities,amenities, or pet fees. They are planing on increasing rent by almost 500 dollars when my lease ends, making my 1br, on one of the lowest floors, 3600 per month, which seems a little steep, even for Seattle.

Great place to live. Amazing Amenities and Awesome Staff

I really enjoy living here. My apartment is beautiful and spacious with floor to ceiling windows. The building has great amenities like the sauna, gym, and a bar with a fanrastic bartender on staff. The rest of the staff are also amazing and so helpful.
