Good Units, Old Building, Absent Management

At first, the amenities were nice, but they have slowly been taken away with no explanation. The pool table is slowly molding. The coffee bar was "temporarily closed" and now no longer exists. I cannot remember the last time a package was placed in our lockers instead of unceremoniously being dumped in a pile to sort through. Additionally, it is very difficult to get in contact with the management company. We have had rent discrepancies that have taken months to sort out - emails go unanswered, phone calls do not go through, and frequently the staff is not in the office during open hours. (**I should note - the staff working here are respectful and kind. There has just been such significant turnover that I doubt the staff in our building are trained.) Maintenance staff often enters our apartment with no notice except our SmartRent app telling us someone has unlocked our door. (**Again, maintenance staff has been nothing but professional and kind in person - I believe this is serious institutional miscommunication.) Sometimes the management company emails us that, due to an error in the email system, they did not inform us that people would be doing work in our units. Sometimes there is no notice whatsoever. Especially as someone with pets, this is unacceptable. Additionally, as the building is old, the elevators often do not work, and we routinely have our water shut off due to repairs in the buildings below. Often this also comes with no notice. I wish I could like this building - the units are beautiful, the staff is ill-trained but kind, and I love the location. But it has been a headache since we moved in.

Reserved Parking

I was told they are doing away with reserved parking when I moved in but they have not told the guests so every day I come out to my car having notes on it saying iim parking in a reserved spot. I move my car constantly

moved in June of 2023. So far the only problem that i see is how packages are handled. No staff availability on the weekend is also been something i don't like. it was always nice to get your packages on the weekend in case it is locked in the office. Also, packages are everywhere. My parking spot is all the way at the end. don't specifically like it but can live with it.

Great Value!

This apartment has an excellent location, with fantastic views to the north and very close to two metro stops. The amenities are clean and we often take advantage of the rooftop when guests come to visit. The staff is also incredibly friendly - unfortunately there was quite a bit of turnover through 2023, so you might not always get the fastest response, but everyone who works here is so kind and helpful and a joy to see in the front offices every morning. It is definitely an older building, and some of the amenities are older, but the units themselves are clean and new. It's a very good value, and I couldn't see myself living anywhere else in this area.
