I can’t stay at this property another 6 months. The gunfire during the day hours and night time funfire is not safe

Have known the reputation of the area as well as the nickname given to the complex (IYKYK). But in all honesty I must admit that it's NOT as Bad as I thought it'd be. Been here going on 4yrs now. Haven't heard of any break-ins at all. Parking is plentiful, guest parking MUST be properly followed via registration. MGMT is usually polite & willing to help/assist w/any problems. The maintenance crew is great, will complete orders in a timely manner. Good security staff are on the property, esp at night/wknds. Now for the Bad. My only complaint is w/the "younger generation". They sometimes prowl/walk the property or the outside areas (esp the female's). Shootings occur more often than they should (haven't heard of anyone getting killed). Sm awfully bad drivers have "crashed thru the Iron fence". Lastly, I'd like to know just WHY the owners didn't put in W/D hookups? These Apts are HUGE! Plenty of space for them. And for that reason I'll be moving in October. I can't live w/o a W/D anymore. Only amenity is a pool. Gate's are usually left open. Property is separated by a bridge, which sm ppl complain is always "LOCKED". They then have to walk all the way arnd the outside property to access the mailboxes at the front of the property. So if you don't mind a few of these problems then WELCOME. Select a unit on the front, avoid the back of the property. GOD bless.??????

Me and my husband love it out here since they got rid of all the young people who was causing disturbances out here. But far as maintenance you put a work order in and they claim they fixed it but it doesn't get fixed completely I put work orders in for my tub, sink and air conditioner and it hasn't gotten completely fixed. But all in all it has been quiet. Especially the apartments im staying at and the neighbors are so sweet and kind.
