Pet Policy

  • Pets allowed. PET OWNERSHIP POLICY Resident may be permitted to have common household pets provided that the Resident complies with the following regulations: Manager must be notified in writing of the intention of any Resident to have a pet.  The size and type of the pet must be stated. Household pets will be defined as cats, birds, fish, and  dogs. No reptiles will be permitted. Only TWO (2) pets per apartment will be permitted. (Fish excluded) No exotic birds will be permitted. Prior to admittance and thereafter on an annual basis, all dogs and cats must be inoculated for rabies and distemper and treated for fleas. Proof of compliance must be provided to a management representative. Pets are NOT permitted in the Amenity areas, with the exception of the Pet Play and Spa area. Pets are not permitted to roam free outside and must always be leashed. Residents with pets are required to immediately remove all pet waste. Pet waste must be placed in a plastic bag, sealed, and put in the trash bins in the refuse rooms. Residents must take ALL necessary steps to assure that their pets do not make any noise which will be disturbing to other residents. If a pet persistently makes excessive noise, the Management reserves the right to have the pet permanently removed from the property. Financial obligations of the pet owner: Cat and dog owners must pay a one-time non-refundable pet fee of $500 In addition, cat and dog owners will pay a monthly fee of: Dogs:   $50.00 Cats:    $20.00  Pet owners must pay the actual cost for any damages to conditions which were caused by their pet: i.e.: carpet stains, pet waste, scratched walls/trim/paint/floor, and flea infestation. If a pet should exhibit behavior that constitutes an immediate threat to health or safety, we will notify the appropriate state or local authority to have the pet removed. We will allow cats and dogs and accept a maximum of two pets per home. Pets must always be on a leash when outside the apartment.  Dogs must be leashed whenever walking on the premises. Management reserves the right to deny residency to any animal deemed aggressive. Should your pet injure any other pets, residents, or guests, you will be asked to remove the pet from the premises immediately. The following pets are also restricted: Monkeys Ferrets Snakes Rabbits Livestock Reptiles  .

Beautiful Place To Live

My original lease was for 18 months and began in February 2022. Signed a two-year lease renewal in August 2023. Relieved that my market-rate rent rose by only two-and-a-quarter percent. No change in fees for amenities, utilities (water and natural gas), storage locker, and Stella Garage parking. Location is so convenient. I walk to Metro-North train station, Post Office, restaurants, parks, New Roc movie theater, the gorgeous public library, my primary-care physician's office, my dentist's office, my eye doctor's office ~ I even walk to the City Hall Annex to vote. And as a recent retiree, I just walk three blocks to the Social Security Administration office to talk face-to-face with someone whenever I'm unable to find the answers I need online. Grocery shopping is easy: I walk to the little C-Town supermarket three-and-a-half blocks from here. To buy whatever I can't find at C-Town, I go by car to either ShopRite or Stop & Shop. Both are about a mile from here. As impressed as I am with New Rochelle, I'll always love spending time in Manhattan, especially Harlem. And it's a cinch to get there on Metro-North. As for noise: It's considerable amid the ongoing downtown renovation project, as well as the music that blares during frequent outdoor festivals. But I live on the 9th Floor, and residents who live higher-up have told me their units are quiet. So keep that in mind. Wish I had! (ha ha)
