Decent apartment, no pool access

Pool damaged the power room two years ago, we lost power for a month and the pool only opened for a week since. With the pool closed its difficult to access the parking garage and garbage. Company hasn't been able to keep a manager on site for more than a few months. But all the managers have been good people. Otherwise its a good place to live, nice access to Lake Ave and Old Pasadena.

Good place

I was please with the the helpfulness of the staff(Tina-Property Manager of Franklin House, OK and from the main office Anchor Pacifica and the overall cleanliness of the unit. I moved in during Fall so there are more fallen leaves in the property in the common areas and hopefully they still get cleaned up regularly at this time of the year. The Kitchen and bathroom counters, cabinets and drawers are not upgraded but they are maintained before move in. Overall it is a good place to live in Pasadena - close to groceries, restaurants, shops and schools.

Complex has improved

The management has made a lot of changes for the better, the pool is finally open and maintenence requests are answered promptly. A poor change was the pool gate, it slams much louder then it used too and can be heard throughout the complex past midnight. The front gate also still often gets jammed and the hot tub still isnt working. Overall though the complex is getting better slowly but surely.
