After just reading some of these reviews, I AM APPLAUDED!! Storage is storage no matter where you go. I have worked several corporate storage facilities and they all have mice. you are not to store any kind of food, spices, ect but some people do not always go by the rules which causes harm to them self but also others. and EVERY storage facility has break ins!! its unstoppable no matter what you do. 24/7 storage is far the best storage facility i have seen. The owners are the most humble and kindest people. they are almost TO kind by allowing their tenants to get so far behind on rent and then working with them and allowing them to catch the payments up. any other facility if you are late after 45 days you are sent to auction and loose your belongings. this is the only 24 hour access facility in the metroplex these days. And as for the dumpster, The dumpster on property is put here for tenants to throw away small loose trash Not your trash from your home, mattress, couches, lawn chairs bags of grass clippings ect!! 24/7 Storage is a great and safe place to store with people who honestly do care for their customers and their belongings. ... Locked inside the place after hours because they can't use an automatic exit like every other storage facility, they have to use another code entry box that wouldn't work. Fortunately, someone came along for their unit and was able to get out. ... Read more

Do not store anything here if you don't want it stolen, broken into or vandalized. I've had them since 2015 and paid them over $11 thousand dollars total....so I felt I had a right to write this review. RV was broken into 4 times over a 5 year period. Gate was broken and left open on 3 occasions....that I'm aware of....could have been many more. In one case, the thieves just cut the cheap bicycle chain that opens and closes the gate. When the gate is broken, it's left wide open for anyone to come and go. As much as we are paying, if they cared, they shouldi have maintenance on call to fix within hours or hire weekend or over night security until the gate got fixed. Speaking of security....don't bother asking about security footage. It appears their security cameras are there for show. Even the police said the images are fuzzy and could never identify anyone (in broad daylight). If the employees would drive or walk the small lot daily (15 minutes per day), they would know the exact dates of the break ins. Instead, they have to rely on the last time you were there which could have been weeks or months ago. The facility says they won't call police for break-ins and that it is up to you. Some spaces being rented look like mini junk yards. I would not be surprised if the thieves lived on the lot somewhere. It appears that the owner is all about collecting that monthly rent. The owner knows they have no liability and it's all on your insurance. Outside of the nice and courteous staff.....if you want to avoid paying insurance deductibles, towing your vehicle to a repair shop or having strangers rummaging through your property.....stay clear of 24/7 storage! ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at 24-7 Storage - 9709 South Fwy include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
