They are right by the freeway which is very convenient & it's so much cheaper than a lot of storage facilities, they're helpful. Over all it's a good facility. In my opinion because it's become an issue so many times, they close the gate super early 6pm. Which is really hard if you work till 5:00. I've seen them tell people with Uhauls driving for hours or multiple full truck loads & no place to park that they are SOL because the gates just closed. It really does make it such an issue that it's something to consider before renting. One other annoying issue I found is if you don't bring your own Dolly or some sort of cart, it's going to be super inconvenient hiking back and forth to your unit one box at a time or maybe just annoying. It's mostly inside units & they have very few entrances, you have to unlock it every time. Thankfully they have an app & you can use your phone but since it's pretty big inside so you may have one heck of a walk. They say they offer cart's but I have only seen 1 on my first visit so definitely bring something to help you out. They are really good at checking the units & making sure things are good & they have always been really helpful except for gate times. ... Read more

Came in to return a lock for a unit in Florida (after a manager misinformed us we would have to return the lock to a local facility in California) Breanna was so helpful and understanding when she helped us! She was appalled to hear how the staff in Florida handled the situation and made sure to document everything for us for any future reference needed. Breanna was incredibly sweet and deserves recognition! ... Read more

I recently rented a locker space that had a special going. the special was that the second month was free. the first months rent was paid in full even thought it was around the 20th of the month. there was no bill due on the 1st but on the beginning of the next first an additional payment was required to continue access to the locker. thus the locker was cleared out prior to that day so no payment was due. all in all I paid for the first month as the special stated but did not receive the benefits of the free second month due to the way the payments were prorated. no credit of any sort was offered due to this inconvenience. I would think twice before renting and double check to ensure that any benefit you think you are to receive due to renting is actually received. As a side note the staff, Breanna, is very helpful and courteous when asked for any type of assistance. However this matter being above her ability to resolve was unable to accommodate anything. This still did not detract from her being courteous and trying her best to see if something could be done. Now a days its far and in between that you get the excellent service qualities she (Breanna) provides. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 6380 Tupelo Drive include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 6380 Tupelo Drive start from $30 and can go up to $244 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
