Great place to live!

This was my first place after moving to Seattle. I'm very happy to have found it. It's in a great area with lots in walking distance, but away from all the city noise. Very nice staff, very safe, couldn't ask for better.

The central

Its a good place to live. Lacks an exercise room and the bike room has no street access but is accessible through 4 doors and an elevator ride + a shuffle past a car. Otherwise management is excellent, maintenance keeps everything looking nice and working.

Long Time Resident

I have always loved this location and often I have had great rapport with the managers here. Currently, I am more in with maintenance and the assistant manager as the Manager is very often not present and really takes no effort to know the tenants. But that is what happens as a building get into its 7 - 10 year old stage. I am a lifelong renter and so I have had a long history with apartment managers. I am a good tenant and often have great relations with managers. Now the manager even though she is not present (she is managing three separate properties) she is hard core with rules and is not a generous person. It is too bad the last manager knew how to engage and encourage the residents this person does not...

Thanks for a nice home

Love the building, staff and community. Wishlist would be a gym and for the dog relief area to smell less, since it makes the roof deck less pleasant.

A Great Decision

I am a low income renter and have had a really excellent experience at this building. The amenities are great but it truly depends on the manager and the maintenence folks to make those amenities work, clean, useful and up to date. Our last manager and maintenence people were the BEST EVER. Our current are manager is not a tenant person but rather an owner agent. They just fired the maintenence man who was just too aligned with OSHA regulations and although he was trying to keep three buildings up to code and making the tenants super secure, taken care of and safe and happy he was fired, most likely because he was diligent and friendly and great at his job. I absolutely love the neighborhood and all it conveniences, but also because it is a a family friendly area and multiculutural and that is rare in Seattle. I am an in-city dweller and I live in a gentrified neighborhood, that I pray will reap the benefits of my intrusion. I know I make the effort. I love the ability to walk to work, know my neighbors, go to capitol hill and central eating spots and entertainment venues. Taking advantage of exercise in the neighborhood and more. The Central could use another great manager and maintenence chief, but I know the company wants to keep us happy, and even if they take the cheapier way out, it still is a great place to live...This building has many less issues than other complexes and when you rent this is what you look for - consistently good management and maintenence.
