Keajia H. - 7 February 2026
Clean facility. Extremely expensive. $78 for a 3 feet by 3 feet cube. Closes at 6pm, which means you aren’t allowed there and the doors will not work after 6pm. I’ve never seen staff there and they have never answered the phone when I call. ... Read more

We stopped by to check out available units yesterday and the door was locked. We could see the attendant at the desk who pointedly ignored us while we waited. My friend pulled the handle to see if it was just stuck since she wouldn't look up or acknowledge us at all, but it was definitely locked. She scoffed at us and wouldn't look out way so we walked away after that. Unnecessarily rude. ... Read more

Terrible place that raises their rates after offering you a deal to get in. They close at 6pm which doesn’t give working people time to get in and out like they want to. They have a sign that says restroom but there isn’t a restroom so they should probably take the sign down. With all the better storage places in town don’t go to this inconvenient dump. ... Read more

Was a little daunted when we started looking for a storage unit, but Jeannette had all of the answers, was incredibly patient and friendly, and got us exactly what we needed. Hats of to Jeannette for making our rental process as easy as it could be, thanks a million! ... Read more

Edit: I will say, although they’re almost never in the office (you might get lucky waiting around for an hour or so), Janelle is pretty sweet. After finally picking up my new keys for my lock on my storage she blessed me with a credit for my troubles, which I do really appreciate. However, I AM keeping the score at a 3 star max because honestly upper upper management, whoever is above Janelle, should really be making sure there is at least two employees on site every day. One that man’s the office, and one that walks the property at the VERY least. It’s not fair to the single employee working, and it’s definitely not fair to the tenants that need assistance from the office. Original: Storage itself is alright. The worst thing about this location is that there is NEVER anyone in the office. I lost my keys weeks ago and requested a lock change, it was done, I was told to come pick up my keys, and EVERYTIME I call, no answer, EVERYTIME I visit, no one in the office. It’s really frustrating that I’m paying over a hundred dollars a month for storage that I have ZERO access or help at. ... Read more

I had a storage unit on 13th years ago and recently decided to rent one there again. There was a mix-up with my online reservation along with a customer who needed Janelle’s attention - she managed to get me started in the right direction and by the time she was done with the other customer, she was quick and nice and saved me as a customer since at first I thought I was going to need to come back the following day and I was frustrated. Janelle continued to have a positive can-do attitude and was patient and courteous with the other customers with whom she interacted as well. I’m pretty pleased with my move-in. Thank you! ... I'm a new customer with Public Storage and new to the rent by phone experience. Janelle was really helpful in providing clear and easy instructions throughout the entire process. I would recommend using this service again to make renting a space smooth and stress free. ... Read more

The Property Manager of this facility is incredibly informative, helpful, & professional. Janelle made my whole entire move-in experience so EASY! When Public Storage says that they care about your stuff as if it is their own, they really meant it! Janelle is on top of her game when it comes to securing the storage units as well! And is always going above & beyond for her customers. This property may not be climate controlled BUT it sure is very cleanly, organized, and well-maintained! I absolutely would recommend storing at this location! ... Read more
RD R. - 4 February 2025
I've had a positive experience renting here; the unit I got was larger than expected and even once promotional rates expired and my monthly cost went up, I felt like I was paying a reasonable rate for the amount of room. When my paycheck was late and I missed my due date, Janelle gave me a call and was not only professional and kind, she went the extra mile in empathizing with my money stress and making sure I had all the information I needed going forward. The only thing that brings it from a 5 star to a 4 star review is out of their control -- the elevator smells like mildew and is slightly unpleasant to use. But Janelle rules and I really appreciated her help. ... Read more

Jeannette was really patient and kind. It was time to close, she took the time to help me and set me up with a unit I had reserved. Very grateful for people like Jeannette. She went the extra mile and used her 100% customer service skills. She makes you want to come back and I thank you for that. You are appreciated. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 1515 13th Avenue include the following amenities: Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 1515 13th Avenue start from $54 and can go up to $426 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
