Great location and good value

I've lived here for a little over a year now. Older mid-rises like this have more character and feel more homey if that's what you're looking for. Doesn't feel super sterile and like you're living in a box like the newer high rises. Seems like most residents are in their 20-30s. Lots of people walking their dogs in the mornings and evenings. Noise issue comes from the bars/clubs in the area. Most have been shut down and there's one across the street that has been pretty rowdy but seems like the apartment is trying to take care of it. Construction on Laclede can get loud in the mornings (FYI if you WFH). Halls are pretty clean, elevators are old and slow but not a problem unless you're rushing to go somewhere. Never lost mail or packages. Gym is not the most well equipped and kind of small but I feel like the people who are super into working out usually go to actual gyms anyway. John, Victor and Woody are always friendly, helpful and easy to reach. IMO you're paying for the prime location. Uptown is where it's at; Target, WholeFoods just a short drive away, lots of cool bars/cafes within walking distance, walkable/pedestrian friendly area unlike the rest of Dallas.

Great location and helpful staff

I've lived here over 12 years and I have enjoyed my home. There is a pool and fitness center and underground parking garage, and it's walking distance to the Katy Trail, Whole Foods, and many restaurants and bars. The bars nearby are loud on the weekends, but the building itself is rather quiet. The staff has been responsive whenever there is a maintenance issue.

Excellent Resident Management &quick maintenance fixes

From the time I signed the lease to the date I left the property, I felt completely taken care of. John - the Resident Manager is very responsive, professional, polite and always willing to help. The maintenance crew - Victor & Woody - get maintenance requests fixed quickly and efficiently. The facility is a pretty secure one and overall the amenities are well taken care of. My apartment was facing inwards towards the pool, so I had no issues with external noise. I believe if you are in one of the apartments facing towards main roads you may experience noise from the nearby clubs & restaurants but in my personal situation, I never found noise to be an issue. The location is amazing - walking distance to Whole foods and many restaurants & bars. My time at the property was wonderful and would indeed recommend living here.

Disappointed

On weekends it is hard to find a place to park since all the club people use this garage. Towing/booting is not enforced. When I get home from work late at night I feel like I'm walking into a weed dispensary. It really is overwhelming. People smoke weed and cigarettes in the back stairwell on weekends and its all throughout the building. Apt advertised as non-smoking property. Not enforced. Although location and staff are great, I won't be renewing my lease. In fact, if I could get out of it without penalty I would move now.
