It is rare that I go on a walk in the apartment conplex and not step on poop. Dead birds are left to rot in the grass. The gates break frequently. I have never been given a gate opener for the south gate. Others have one, I don’t. It’s usually quiet within the complex, but it’s as loud as a rock concert on my balcony on weekend nights (it’s too loud to have a conversation on the phone). Maintence is great. I’ve lost track of how many things in and around my apartment have broken. Maintenance has always done a stellar job of fixing everything. The insulation is very, very bad. I lived through four South Dakota winters and it gets much, much colder inside my apartment than it ever did in the Midwest where temperatures would often be tens of degrees below 0.
