Wonderful Neighborhood, great place

I've lived here for almost 2 years and building managers have always been so responsive to maintenance requests, etc. I love the Mt. Airy neighborhood and the walkability to public transit.

Many problems

I have lived here for a few months now. The staff is friendly and generally pretty responsive to messages. But it takes a long time for things to get fixed sometimes. On top of that, there are a huge number of things that need to be fixed. The water has oscillated between providing only burning hot water (NO cold water, very strange), and only tepid water at other times, and this still has not been resolved, even after months of many reminders. The outlets did not work at first, and both of the heating elements broke down at the same time, though these problems were resolved quickly. The door also did not close properly for months (you could open it just by pushing on it, even if the doorknob lock was engaged), and it had a couple of holes in the doorframe letting in air from the hallway. The door now closes, but the holes are still there The area is about what you would expect; it's nice to be close to things, although it can be a bit loud. I think it might be a reasonable place to live once they get everything fixed, but there are a lot of things that seem to need fixing.
