Slate is Great!

My wife and I lived at Slate for 3 years before moving to Norway in 2021. We have now returned to Portland, and have moved back into Slate! We love the building and the location, and everything about Slate - it is a wonderful building to live in!

I love living here

I wish there were more building amenities. There's no free coffee in the lobby, Tenant events, or community space you can rent for parties. Their is an outside area buts basically an ally with a grill. It opens to the public street so anyone can walk through, The gym is small and split on two floors and the game room is a game closet. BUT The building is beautiful! its super clean and I LOVE MY APARTMENT. The apartment is a good size and I have never had so much storage space. The Closet is a dream and the floor to celling windows keep me in the clouds! I am really happy with making Slate my home!

Expansive views of the Willamette River

Slate has amazing views and the architecture is one of a kind. The corner apartments have windows on 3 sides! The apartments are spacious and quiet. The neighborhood is becoming more walkable again and all and all it's a great place to live.
