The facility is clean and in a great location. The best part of our experience was staff member Aaron. He made the purchase of a unit easy and he provided a clear understanding of the entry/exit procedure. Thank you Aaron. ... Read more

I had a disappointing experience with Public Storage in Westlake Village. Initially, I was quoted $65 for a 5x6 storage unit, but I was later charged $108. The price advertised on their website is not real — they add extra charges after the second month without warning. When I called on March 12th, 2025, between 12:45 pm and 1 pm, the support representative I spoke with was unhelpful and rude. Instead of addressing the pricing discrepancy, they only suggested I remove my insurance. I tried to explain that a previous representative — possibly named Kevin — had advised me to make a couple of changes to my insurance, but the support agent seemed dismissive. This kind of misleading pricing and poor customer service was frustrating and disappointing. ... Read more

I recently rented and closed out a space at this facility. I don’t write many reviews but the experience was positive and I wanted to share with others. The building and grounds are secure and immaculate. Inside is temperature controlled and brightly lit. The lockers and halls look brand new and spotless. I would like to acknowledge an employee named Aaron. Aaron saw that I needed assistance with codes for the elevators and he came over and explained the process very clearly. Aaron was also available to answer other questions and made the close out process very easy. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 30921 Agoura Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 100 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 30921 Agoura Road start from $64 and can go up to $285 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
