i went in on 2 different occasions asking for a storage room and prices instead of her asking replying to my questions she continued to cut me off and ask if i had rented from her i repeatedly stated to her no i’ve never rented from this facility before fast forward 2 weeks later i return to i ring the bell 3 different times had me standing there for 15 minutes when it clearly states they are open so i decide to call she returns my call 20 mins later and still refused to rent a unit to me stating i’ve been there before.. That manager needs some classes in professionalism i will never return to that property again she needs to be removed ... Read more

The front desk had an attitude with me. As someone who has provided much more professional customer service for 5 years, there’s a clear difference in tone between saying to someone “Who are you? I don’t know you” and asking someone “Are you a new or returning customer?” This does not leave a good impression at all, and certainly leaves a lasting impression. My family has only had a unit here for 10 years. I understand I’m new to coming to the complex and the staff did not recognize me. However, I don’t understand the clearly out-dated attitude I received initially from the front desk. It wasn’t very helpful or conducive to the conversation when I called back to clear things up, the same staff member immediately said “Okay, listen..” as if I wasn’t willing to hear her out in the first place, or as if I approached the conversation with any other attitude besides politeness. It was clearly a rude attitude on their part. I wish I didn’t have to leave this review in order for this concern to be properly addressed, as I understand the staff member did not see anything wrong with her tone. It didn’t help that another customer had to leave their two cents with the staff, making the situation even more complicated. I love being able to have a storage unit that is convenient for my family. It is very inconvenient to have to have this conversation with the staff in the first place. This isn’t even the first time a family member of mine has had a similar experience with the same staff member at the front desk. There’s a pattern that must be addressed, even if would want to continue to use this location regardless. ... Read more

The person who took my call was very polite and professional. She provided very clear prices and conditions. Had I not found a friend to store my trailer for free, I would have stored my trailer at this business. ... Read more

We called to inquire about storing a cargo trailer and the lady we spoke with was very friendly and provided us with everything we needed. The facility is clean enough and we love the fact that management is on site 24/7. Dogs patrol the area and we felt satisfied with leaving our stuff there. This place gives you the impression it is more "mom and pops" and we like that versus a commercial feel. ... Read more

Great prices. Well maintained premises, very secure, and low traffic in and out of storage areas. Leasing a storage unit here is super easy and steamlined. The owner and employees are incredibly friendly and hardworking. They've been so kind and helpful to me and my boyfriend from the very start. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Sequoia Self Storage - 1120 North Santa Fe Street include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
