I’ve been storing my TT here off and on for almost 3 years. They keep it clean & secure. And there is a free dump station, free water, & free ice. The staff is great to deal with, I’ve had zero issues. Definitely recommend! ... Read more

I have a boat that I stored on this property, I have never missed a payment and have always been on time.I was told, if I were to refer anyone, I would get a free month. I got two people. On 8/5, 8/8 I came in to pay for my spot, after I paid in (person)the lady in the office (black hair) was in, I asked if she had any openings? She stated yes, just have them come in she will set it up, I let her know I would come back later to reserve the two spots, one hour later I came back with the person for the two spots, I inquired about the free months, she stated I’ll get it BUT I NEEDED TO WAIT TWO MONTHS, it’s been 3 months, I have not gotten anything free.I came in the office on 11/8 to pay my spot, I asked the daughter at the front desk about the free months. She said I already got it! I said I'm sorry but I have not, I exsplained I’ve been paying every month, I never received the free months, she said rudely, yes I did!! I was puzzled, went back to my truck, sat for a minutes, realized I was correct, I went back to talk with her, calmly, I said, I’m sorry, I have been paying every month, I did not get anything free. She was unprofessional, started to get mad, she says let me put it in a nice way Yes you did!!. I said let me put it in the nice way, no I have not, look I’m not trying to argue or get anyone mad,I did not get anything free, I explained that I spoke with the other lady (black Hair) that day and she even told me I had to wait two months, again very disrespectfully the daughter (Clark) said I was lying and the other lady has been working her for several years and she would never say that, I looked at the other lady (black hair) and asked her did you, or did you not say that, the other lady (black hair) said I never said that. Which is a total lye. unbeliable (There is some inside thing going on here.) The daughter (Clark) then said this conversation is over and almost told me to get my boat out of here, completely I stopped her and let her know that I’m a very Christian person and I have no reason to lye, I would not make this up. why would I?The Daughter (clark) then told me to move my boat to the other place she now put me in, other than the space I was. The space she put me in is so tight and almost could not get my boat in,If there was a motor home in the spot in front of of me, it would have been impossible for me to get it in that spot, I’m hoping I can get it out if that motor home comes back to park. I feel this could have been resolved if she would have just acted professionally and spoke to me like an adult and not a little kid that she was basically calling me a liar, also acting as if she was the law or something.if she would have looked in the books a little better and look for the receipt number she would have seen that I have paid the two months She said I didn’t pay and got for free already, If I would have saved my receipt I would have brought it to her that was my fault for not saving them. But the books should show the numbers and look for the one that is missing for that day.I feel it was not right to accuse me of trying to get more than I should have rightfuly got. Just for referring, not one but two campers stored on your property I was being so disrespected.I felt I needed to write this letter just to let you know what was going on.I don’t even care about the free months anymore, it’s the principal of it all and I was not dealt with professionally and was disrespected. When I was told this conversation is over, move my boat Saturday she was done.I have decided going forward i will no longer be storing my boat on this property and before you decide to please read all the reviews, almost all bad reviews are about rudeness. there are many other places. this place does not even deserve the one star just for the rudeness and disrespect they treat the customers. When I say the Daughter, I’m talking about the owner of the property’s Daughter. Now they are giving the two people that I got to store there campers a hard time, and the rudeness and disrespect you will get treated. ... Read more

The blond lady is the rudest person I’ve ever encountered. She is racist and uneducated. I can’t not believe this type of rude person even exist. Her parents must have not taught her how to communicate with people. So she acts like people owe her a billion dollar. This is a nice storage facility with security camera around, but they need to change staff. I will only store my rv for a period of time not long term. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Dry Dock Depot R.V.-Boat Storage - 1450 North Campus Avenue include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
