Staff if super rude and unwelcoming. Came in before closing to grab an item and got yelled at because they were closing in 15 minutes and was told id get my car locked in and have to walk home by the the short dude working. Yet there was a whole family who didnt look like they were leaving anytime soon in the aisle adjacent. They reqlly need to watch how they talk to customers. I dont even feel comfortable having my stuff here when that same person has his homeless friends hanging out front not even allowing people to park their cars in the available spots ... Read more

Our experience wasn't the best. The woman in the front desk is the rudest person I've ever met in my entire life. I will never come here again. If your life is so miserable don't take it out on your clients. Drink some coffee and a smile goes a long way. ... Read more

Unfortunately, I had to take my business elsewhere. I see that they had good reviews until about a year ago. Maybe something has changed. The call center is extremely rude and has no concept of customer service. They are very hostile from the first contact, and unwilling to admit a small mistake, even when it wouldn’t hurt them and no recompense is being asked for. Having worked in customer service most of my life, I know how easy it is to simply admit a mistake and apologize. We all make mistakes. Given my disappointing first impression via the call center, I could not be confident in moving forward. If they react this way when they have given wrong information, how would they react if your unit was stolen from? Would they even believe you? What if there was an infestation of pests, a problem which another reviewer even says they had? Who would you turn to? They do not care about their relationship with their clients at all. For someone who needs to store in the city of Tulare, I would suggest a family or individually owned facility that conducts rentals directly with their customers. ... Read more

I have 2 concerns here. One is that there is no restroom available. What are you supposed to do if the 'urge' strikes you when you're in the middle of rearranging your storage unit?? Two is that most of the outside lights down the rows don't come on when it gets dark. It's getting dark at 4:30 ish now, but the place is open till 7:00. Can't do anything in the dark. And there aren't any lights inside the units either. There is also one huge inconvenience as well and that is having to get out of your car to key in the code upon entering and exiting the gates. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Tulare Mini Storage - 201 North West Street include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Enclosed, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
