I've been renting at Storage King USA for several years, and I especially want to give Keith, the property manager, some well-deserved recognition. I originally chose this facility after doing a lot of research and calling around, and they had the best prices I could find in the area. I've continued renting here because I've had a good experience overall, and since Keith took over, I've been especially impressed with the care he puts into his job and the people he interacts with.
When I recently needed additional storage space, Keith and Nate took the time to show me the available units and help me figure out what would work best. Keith was training Nate at the time, and I was really impressed by how patient, encouraging, and respectful he was with him. I think you can learn a lot about someone by watching how they treat the people they work with, and it was nice to see that Keith gives his staff the same kindness and respect he gives his customers. He's also gone out of his way to point out ways I could save money and has been incredibly accommodating when unexpected or last-minute situations have come up.
What I appreciate most is that Keith finally helped me resolve an issue I'd been dealing with for almost two years. I had a storage unit I'd originally rented with my ex, who later abruptly moved out of state, and we were trying to transfer it into his name. Between parts of the process needing to happen in person, my ex not always being on top of his end, and management changing several times, it kept stalling and felt like we were constantly starting over. Once Keith became manager, he took ownership of the situation and helped us finally get everything sorted out. After nearly two years of dealing with it, that was an enormous relief.
I've also been really happy with the security here. I was a little unsure about the surrounding area when I first started renting and wondered how secure my belongings would be, but after several years I've never had an issue. At one point, I temporarily used an older lock on an additional unit that I knew could be cut pretty easily with basic bolt cutters. I meant to replace it right away, but life got busy and it stayed on much longer than intended. The fact that it was never tampered with genuinely surprised me and, combined with years of storing my belongings here without any problems, has given me a lot of confidence that my things are safe here.
Keith has an impressive 25 years of experience in the storage industry and has been with Storage King for six years. After seeing management at this particular location change several times, having someone with that much experience who is genuinely invested in his job makes a big difference. He speaks highly of Storage King USA and seems genuinely happy to be working for the company, which is reassuring to me as a long-term customer and makes me hopeful he'll be managing this location for a long time.
Keith is a genuinely positive, hardworking person who cares about doing his job well and taking care of people. He's generous with his time, has helped me out more than once when he didn't have to, and I never feel like I'm inconveniencing him when I need help. I'm really grateful he's managing this location, and I hope Storage King USA recognizes what an asset he is. The customer service is great both the call center (spoke with two different ladies on separate occasions who were a blessing to talk with) and at the facility Kieth made my life less stressful making sure I seen my spot to park my trailer would be accessible and reassuring that I came to the right spot. I was referred to Mighty Vault in Santa Rosa by a friend an the old lady Linda was horrible, she was very unpleasant and yelling at me trying to blame me for her inability to communicate or use her phone plus her rates were significantly higher than storage king. I found storage king on google and was able to get a spot reserved same day and then moved in on my next day off. Kieth made me feel comfortable storing my trailer there. The facility is clean with nice fences as well as gates with full security system. Kieth was polite and efficient with getting me set up with my spot for my trailer. What a blessing that I was able to find this facility in such short notice. I had a wonderful experience with Cody. He is very friendly and efficient. I had the very best experience today at Storage King. Over the past few years storing my items at this property it always seemed to be a challenge to be able to have my needs met whenever I spoke with the management team in the office if there was ever a problem with billing or any questions at all. Today I was going to be increasing the size of my storage unit and was greeted by the best office staff by far. The Manager Ally who is relatively new to this location but who is a seasoned Storage King manager really shined forth today. All questions I had with setting up this new unit were answered with the best attitude. She really knows her business and was even able to help me save some money by booking online. I heard Ally in the office taking care of another customer who had billing issues and this manager sounded well versed in excellent customer service. I know that customer left with a sense of understanding her account and even made payment on the spot. I’m a little bummed that I never have to go into the office to sort many issues out so chances are I wouldn’t be hearing from her again. I think this is the real deal when it comes to over the top customer service. I applaud the character i saw here today. I would give higher than 5 stars if i could. I am extremely pleased with my interactions with the staff and with the facilities at Storage King on Dutton Meadows. Very professional operation, with just the right touch of humanity. They do care for their customers and are accommodating where they can be, always willing to work with you in an open and honest manner. Pricing is reasonable and the units are clean and in well kept condition. Egress and exit through the main gate controlled by personalized access codes (pretty standard in the industry)

I just rented a 6x10 rental unit in Jan 2025 so I can't really say too much, but so far the manager, she's awesome! She really goes the extra mile to help. I didn't know the hours (on New Years Eve) and got there during the regular business hours...she was locking up and was nice enough to open the office again and help us to our unit etc. Very sweet. My purpose today is to let the community know about Storage King USA's chaotic management. As of right now, the place has been completely devastated after practically all of the storages were broken into (cameras, fences, and main gate). A significant portion of the people who rent a storage has not been informed by the administration of the issue, and most recently, prices were raised without informing anyone.
Regarding safety and communication, this place is terrible and a nightmare. Numerous theft and vandalism allegations have been made, and they constantly leave the gate open. Someone else showed that whomever broke into the location left excrement in their storage. This location always leaves their gates open 24/7 with no ability to contact them about the situation. The gate can also be easily opened by pulling on it mentioned one of the renters. It is difficult to contact any of the employees, and our car's gas tank was broken into, leading to a significant gas leak and a dangerous situation.
