Shawn Is The Bees Knees!! The facility is always kept clean and there are even dollys you can use by the office in case you need the extra help. Shawn & his lovely wife are always kind and friendly when answering the phones and any questions. Not to mention it’s always nice to joke around with Shawn, it makes everything that much more personable! If I could give more stars I would! ... Read more

Honestly the best storage place I’ve ever had! I was so sad when I had to leave lol The prices are super affordable compared to all the other storage units in the area. Sean is the coolest and most understanding guy. Even when I moved out the process was so simple. I didn’t have to pay any sort of fee like my last storage place. As long as you’re out by the first of the month you’re good! Loved this storage place very much. Would highly recommend to anyone. Oh! And I forgot to mention, their security system is really great. Sean or whomever is working can tell you all about it. Check them out! They’re awesome :) ... Read more

This is a great storage facility. They have a great location, a clean place of business, they are friendly, have large storage units if needed, good hours, competitive rates and Sean is always willing to help out. No complaints at all. Jean Harris definitely did not rent at HIGHWAY SELF STORAGE. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Highway Self Storage - 26950 Weyerhauser Way include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate and Multi-Level Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
