Read some helpful reviews of San Marcos Public Storage at 907 West San Marcos Blvd, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I have my business products and supplies stored here for 7 years. I haven't ever had any problems. The onsite manager is amazing. She is professional, polite, and goes above and beyond what I think her duties entail. I would like to see their open hours to be extended, especially in the summer. But I'm probably to only one. Plus, it keeps the riff raff away. If you don't need a climate controlled storage, I would recommend this place. Prices are a little less than the average of similar places around there. ... It's a good facility with the exception of trying to get somebody in the office during business hours. I will bet you my success rate is less than 20% of the time once again. I'm here office hours say 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday Sunday 8 to 4. I got here at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon and once again the office is empty, this is extremely frustrating. There's always an excuse somebody's on vacation. Somebody called in sick. ... Read more

Great new management team, extremely helpful and they go out of there way to make sure they take care of your needs. Most of all they are there on the grounds 24/7. Not like the so called big guy's such as, public storage or extra space storage, they do not care about you, the only thing that they care about is your monthly payments. My hat goes off to this great storage place. ... Read more

I had to rent a Uhaul on a Sunday and with really short notice. Great that they were open on a Sunday first off and they processed me in/out with no issues. So much easier than trying to borrow a truck/van. I will definitely rent from them again. Very pleasant to deal with and accommodated my schedule. Thanks! ... Read more

Excellent customer service. Always extremely pleasant in person and over the phone. Specifically received help when trying to move from SD to SF and made the move the smoothest it could have gone. Storage unit stayed clean and easily accessible. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at San Marcos Public Storage - 907 West San Marcos Blvd include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
