Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 88 Blossom Hill Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

writing to formally express my concern regarding my recent experience at your Blossom Hill Road location. I have been a customer with Public Storage for the past three years and have made every single payment on time. When I first rented my unit, my monthly rate was $115.00. Over time, my rent steadily increased to $242.00 per month. Whenever I inquired about the significant increases, I was told by the onsite employee, Brandi, that the higher rate was due to increased rental fees. However, when I went into the office this past weekend to notify staff that I had moved out, I overheard Brandi informing another customer that the exact same unit size was currently being offered at promotional rates between $60.00 and $115.00 per month. When I asked why I was paying $242.00 for the same unit, she laughed and told me, “The trick is to keep moving units around so the rental fee stays low.” It would have been helpful—and fair—to have been informed of this option at any point over the last year or two. Instead, I continued paying significantly higher rates while promotional pricing was clearly available. This feels misleading and inconsistent, especially when some customers are made aware of strategies to reduce their costs while long-term, loyal customers are not. Additionally, I experienced ongoing customer service issues, including unanswered calls and messages, limited office availability, and office hours that are not practical for customers who work standard 9–5 schedules. I believe your company should re-evaluate how pricing transparency and customer service are handled at this location. Long-term customers who consistently pay on time should not feel penalized for their loyalty. I would appreciate a review of my account and an explanation regarding the rate discrepancies. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to your response. ... Read more

Don't get a unit here. The hours are already ridiculously short and they close ridiculously early. But half the time you come here even though they're open they'll still be closed. There's a much better storage unit right up the road that's open till 11:00 p.m. That is actually open when they say they're going to be open. ... Read more

If i could give it zero i would. I was greeted by the manager/owner with an attitude every time i was here. I am so glad to be done and away from this it was a horrible experience and will never be using this storage facility again. I believe her name was Alana, there was a time i was here where she had touched both my brother and i’s phones to give the property 5 stars I immediately removed it she was so unprofessional and rude. ... Alana was amazing. I needed to see all the different sizes and configurations in person and she was patient, informative and helpful. The one I had originally intended to rent had an awkward ceiling and she was careful to draw my attention to it and what that would mean for my storage needs. Clean, reasonably priced (prices a bit cheaper online) and kind! ... Read more

SAVE YOUR MONEY! I canceled this storage unit, the unit is cleaned to a T and never used. The unit was purchased online and I never realized storage units could have second level floors. Of course, it’s my fault, However, upon viewing the storage unit. The manager hit my car, She hurried and walked away. I opened my door and told her that she hit my car. She came back and told me that she didn’t hit my car because there was no scratches on the door. I told her that was unacceptable for the way she just walked away and then came back and instead of saying, I’m sorry for hitting your car. She made an excuse for it. I was moving into my place on August 1st to which I canceled my unit August 4th, I will be attaching the email for proof. I keep getting notices of late payments, I already contacted corporate and she informed me that my account would be closed And to call back if I had any problems. Well, this manager to this location sent me an email stating that I was moving out on August 22nd. She is refusing to let me Cancel the unit. I have calls recorded as well as all the emails. If I’m moving out on August 4th and I have the email proof, why would I be moving out suddenly on August 22nd? ... Read more

Absolutely terrible. I wish I could give them zero stars! The place is extremely humid, with no ventilation and unbearably hot. Dirty and disgusting everywhere. Definitely do not recommend. The elevator is extremely dangerous — it almost cut our hand when we tried to hold it closed while moving our stuff. ... Read more

Beware, before even you try to book any storage with this business. They will scam you with lots of hidden charges and extremely unprofessional. Here is my story. I had few extra boxes that I wanted to keep in a small storage unit at public storage about 2 blocks from my place. I booked online on 30 July and scheduled to move on 31st. I was overcharged and there was hidden fees that they would never disclose up front. I called and left several messages but no one called me back. I tried to chat with them online, six times that chat agent hung up. There is no way to cancel the order. You can download their app and you can only move in or move out with the app. How one can move out when he/she has not moved in yet. Then I called and with extreme difficulty tried to cancel the order and the agent was extremely rude and declined to issue a refund that they charges over $116 and she hung up. I called twice and after lots of persuasion they agreed to provide a partial refund. They did not even do that for over a week and when I called they did not refund the full amount. I booked online, never moved in and yet they charged me money. Extremely unprofessional business. ... Read more

TLDR: Great service. Adequate facilities. Affordable pricing. Strongly recommended! Public Storage strikes a balance between the Gucci, climate controlled, highly monitored facilities of Uhaul, and the sketchy hands-off roadside units. Sure, it’s a little rough around the edges, but it’s easy on the wallet, modestly climate controlled, and secure enough to keep you from looking over your shoulder while you’re there. Service was always top-notch. Alana in particular was always proactive and knowledgeable about every aspect of the business. She should definitely get a pay raise for all of the personalities she’s forced to manage each day! Would highly recommend to anyone needing to free up some garage space, or in the chaotic transition of moving! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 88 Blossom Hill Road include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 88 Blossom Hill Road start from $54 and can go up to $310 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
