The manager Kay was very conscientious , helpful, kind and very patient with me . I also notice she has good rapport with her clients, she knows them by name and very accommodating . I was very impressed the way she talks to her clients . This is the 4rth Public storage I’ve been to compared to other managers in other PS who are short and not friendly . Kay has an excellent customer service and deserve to have the highest STAR .. I salute to her ????Keep up the good work Kay . ... Read more

Customer Service was really great! I was helped by Kay! Thanks Kay for being very knowledgeable and answering all my questions and concerns. She is very polite and respectful. She also showed me the storage unit before proceeding with the rental, which was great as well! The insides were clean, little to no dirt/debris and its an outside unit. Thanks again Kay! Also, would recommend this place for anyone in need of storage space either temporarily or whenever, really. ... Read more

Kay told me that : When I move out, that I would be pro-rated for days left"! Not that I'm closing my account after 2 years and have 10 days left, Public Storage is refusing to Honor Kay statement. None working restroom. Smashed electrical panel hanging from exterior wall Homeless incampments all around the place! Burned out incampment at the entrance! NOT SAFE !! When it rains roof leaks and the insurance Public Storage makes you pay for each month. Doesn't pay! Just a way to jack up the monthly rate! This Facility is a public Hazard! Find somewhere else cheaper, safer! Would not recommend it to my worst enemy ?? Check out the pictures ?? ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 1500 Story Road include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 1500 Story Road start from $75 and can go up to $502 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
