Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 7545 Dagget Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Beware of the low introductory rates and positive reviews. They hook you in with an attractive low price to get you signed up and then the increases hit hard and fast. My rate nearly doubled within the first year and a half with no real justification or warning that it would jump so much. they don’t care about long-term customers once you’re locked in. If you’re looking for stable pricing, look elsewhere ... Read more

June was absolutely wonderful!!! She made the entire check-in process smooth, fast, and completely stress-free. From the moment I arrived, she was friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail. Her welcoming attitude and efficiency made the experience seamless, and I really appreciated how easy she made everything. June went above and beyond to provide excellent service. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to my visit. ... Read more

Avoid this storage. When I first signed up the price seemed reasonable, but within two years they doubled my rate. Now they keep raising it by about 20% every six months. These constant hikes are predatory practices, taking advantage of customers who don’t want the hassle of moving their belongings. If you’re considering storage here, think twice. you’ll likely end up paying far more than you expected. There are plenty of other storage options that won’t play games with your money. ... Read more

All the staff was extremely nice and very helpful, including June I think (her name started with a Ju)? Who helped coordinate me picking up the lock I had accidentally left. Extremely appreciate the thoughtful and great attitude towards customer service. Joe was also extremely helpful and had another employee help me and he was also a pleasure to speak too! Would rent from here again! ... Read more

One of the best locations you'll find. stop looking. No storages are perfect, but this one has Joe and June who will be attentive to your space, and keep it clean, you see them roaming around working and you'll get to know them over time. These two are so good, you'll find them in other "Public Storage" locations helping out (yes I had more than one, but now all consolidated here because of them two). I've read complaints, and yes sometimes it gets crowded and we run out of karts, and yes we all experience corporate greed and inconvenience manifesting itself as delays on service delivery, but these two do their best to work with that they got, you won't find less corporate problems outside. I just want my stuff accessible, safe and clean. if you appreciate solid service, easy freeway access and competitive prices, you've found the right place. Remember those who don't read the agreements will be the first ones to complain "no one told me about so and so" sir/mam, you read and signed. don't blame the front desk for your lack of personal responsibility. Thanks June, thx Joe. ... Read more

I’m sharing this because I truly hope I can help someone avoid the pain I went through. I signed up at this storage place, lured in by the “first month half-off or free” offer. I rented a 15x13 unit for $156 a month and in less than two years, they raised it to $280. My unit was a dark, lonely corner with no light, but the manager kindly let me use the overhead outlet. I was so grateful for that small kindness. But today, on my final day there, new staff came and told me I couldn’t use the light anymore. I had to move all my things out, completely in the dark, surrounded by pests. I can’t explain how heartbreaking and exhausting it was it drained me emotionally and mentally. Please, if you’re reading this, think carefully. We don’t need to carry so much extra stuff or pay extra bills every month just to store things we might never use again. Donate to the less fortunate, free yourself of that burden. This company can change the rules anytime they want, and I just pray my story reaches someone even just one person and saves them from going through what I did. Hold on to what truly matters, and let the rest go ... Read more

Joe is completely biased and rude doesn’t communicate well and evicted me from here with only 48 hours to leave, mind you never bothered Joe or even got in his way no set of warnings only mean commands and was rude about it. if you’re not a pretty lady he will give you a hard time and when I was here he kept checking on me like a prison guard had zero privacy here. I have ocd and would clean my storage all the time and apparently you can’t clean your storage cause it’s considered “loitering”. No form of communication just strictly harsh commands with no warnings from Joe. He won’t confront the issue and resolve it and he always had his headphones on so you can never talk to him. Completely treated unfairly there’s a lot of people who hang around in there storage and work on projects and clean there storage as well and I’m the only person who got this treatment like this. Mind you never had an issue with Joe. Mike was seriously the man he will be missed. I hope to get this resolved with higher ups and not with David he was no help in this situation either was taking joes word for everything I had no say in this unfair situation ... Read more

I came here because it’s been sticking out online to me for a while. My fiancé and I met Mike today and he is a wonderful character. The unit was so clean and didn’t have that weird storage smell that I experience at A-1 Storage in Fashion Valley (don’t go there is expensive and dirty)! We experienced perfect customer service, some good stories, just a wholesome experience and we needed that, life has been putting us through it, our roommate stalking us has been the most damaging so we need as many positive auras around us. This is one of many steps to move to northern San Diego and Mike has made these steps so pleasant and positive. Thank you so much for what you do and sharing your stories with us we needed and appreciate that laughter so much! ... Read more

I am unfortunately having such a hard time with my latest move into my new apartment due to my move in date changing constantly. Mike has made my life so much easier by being kind, helpful, and accommodating. I’ve never met anyone happier to help or as good as their job as he is. During such a stressful time in my life, he’s given me positivity and lots of laughter. The storage units are also very well kept, the facilities are easy to use and very secure, and with the mobile app, it’s all so accessible. Thank you, Public Storage and thank you , Mike! ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 7545 Dagget Street include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
