Pacific Highway Storage is highly misminaged and will go to extra lengths to get the most money out of you. They lied and robbed me of my money, making me pay for a storage unit that I had already vacated and refused to issue a refund. There are many other companies offering storage units in San Diego at better prices with better staff. I highly suggest you take your business elsewhere. ... Read more

I like the location and available amenities but you will have to deal with lack of organization and attention to detail on your account that will result in fees due to their negligence. For a number of months I have been accused of being over due on payments when I physically went into the office and set up auto payments via their hard form. I had to go in multiple times to fix this and it still wasn’t fixed after completing the form. I was called today because my account was 11 days over due even though the autopay information was provided. After my frustration turned on the person I spoke with explained they had an expired cc number. Impossible since I gave them new information on their form. What a surprise somehow they were able to find my form and enter the new information because I lost my temper and questioned them. Having to deal with this for months is ridiculous. I was willing to pay the premium for this location but I will look elsewhere asap. ... Read more

It's cleaner than most storage facilities in SD, but the displaced village developing behind the building has started to feel a bit intimidating. The rates are high, and although it doesn't have AC in most of the buildings/units, my spot stays pretty regulated. Good service, no power, no trash. ... Read more

The staff was very friendly and efficient. With all that is going on right now Certain areas of the facility could be better kept (elevators,Hallways, keypads). There are no trash cans avail anywhere which could be the reason there is litter in some areas. My unit is nice and spacious especially for the price I’m paying. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Pacific Highway Storage - 4350 Pacific Hwy include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 150 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Pacific Highway Storage - 4350 Pacific Hwy start from $61 and can go up to $358 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
