this was a great storage facility until they changed the management to storage pro. Now that storage pro is managing they took away the concierge service for drop off and ick up, took away the rv dump. Robert was the manger onsite if tou had any concerns there a an actual person to deal with. Storage pros sends you to a call center when you all in. Storage Pro charges the same price with out any of the services. ... Read more

At first it was great, I felt confident in talking to Robert and knew the trailer would be safe there. But then after the first time dropping it off, the rules changed per the owner. I had to take off a bike rack because it was 2 feet over the qualified length limit or I had to pay more even though it was backed in and hung over the weeds and up against a fence, then I got a call that my husband couldn't be on the property because the storage was in my name, he was dropping off something to the trailer thats all. I was never given an opportunity to add him but the rules became ridiculous and petty. They use to offer customer service and pull the trailer out for an easy pick up as the trailers are in pretty tight. The new management company that has taken over was so rude and just down right mean. So I called another storage company and picked the trailer up that afternoon and canceled my contract with them immediately. There costs were high and it was no longer a good business decision to continue to use them . Robert was always kind and helpful but it just became to much to use a company that is rude and has to many rules. There are good companies out there and your just putting a trailer on a piece of black top. It's not rocket science. Maybe you should fire the management company They might be costing you business and actually offer customer service. And did I mention the other storage place took me right in and it was almost half the monthly cost and closer to my home. It's got all the gates and security also but I can go to my trailer whenever I want without being questioned to death or micro managed. They also provided great friendly customer service and I wasn't inconveniencing them with my trailer. ... Read more

I had my trailer stored here for over a year. The price is excellent, and it's near my home. Security has not been an issue. Robert, the friendly onsite manager, is always there watching out. Robert signed me up originally, and he made the process easy. He offered to park my trailer with his forklift if the spots get too tight. Valet service! I highly recommend RVs of Sacramento Storage! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at RV-s of Sacramento Storage - 1051 El Camino Avenue include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
