The new manager is horrible, she kept saying we needed to get out because she was going to the property when no one was waiting for her. Two customers walked in when I was there, and she refused service because she said they didn’t make an appointment, even the lady said she had a reservation and she said call tomorrow morning to make an appointment. Definitely moving out next month, previous manager (Chanda) was very friendly and professional. ... Read more

Okay less be honest people! Public storage after hour phone line system sucks! I had mistakenly left my car keys in the restroom there at the site -not knowing that the bathroom door would lock automatically once I exit. [my keys were still in the restroom]. Oh My God. The office had closed 15 minutes before I discovered my keys were missing. I called the number next to the restroom hoping to get someone out to the storage to open the door to the bathroom to get my keys to the car out but all the customer service lady could say to me is to call 911. She said that when people are stuck in the elevator they call 911. Well I told her that this has nothing to do with an elevator so she said well there is nothing else could be done so I went around to the front door of the facility and I was able to find another phone number to call so I called it only to get an answering service line. Oh My God. [It helps to pray about things]. And although my car windows were down, me and the 18 month baby that was with me were both hot from the weather outside. I knew that I could not leave my car unattended overnight with the windows down.[ Thank God that there is a God that exist]! I was able to call my Triple A to come and tow me and the baby home. [ I had an extra key at home]. Thank you God. [ Just so you know, the hours on their website shows 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. but let it be known that the office do not open until 9:30 a.m. just a little info that is not on their website. The next morning I called and left a msg for whoever shows up to the office to be so kindly to go into the restroom and retrieve my car keys before anyone else do - I also left my phone number. [ I find it important that others know that there is no after hour service other than an answering service and a customer service line that might not answer your call] The next morning I called right at 9:30a.m. and talk with the guy who was at the facility. He claimed that he got my message and that he checked the restroom and he didn't find no keys. [ I thought to myself did he really look because I know for sure I left the keys in the restroom]. ?? So I said to him okay then if someone happen to find them can you call me. [He said yes but not like a for sure yes]. All day I called about my keys and left a msg. Two days later he calls and said that someone had turned in the keys. Thank you God - I was so happy because I was told the cost of getting an extra key would be $300. So me and the attended made an arrangement to meet at a certain time for me to pick up my car keys but when I got to the storage place the office doors were locked and there was no note on the door or an attended to be found. I needed my car keys so I waited. [By the way I called while in route to meet with the attendant. I called and there was no answer - I took it as if he was probably out showing someone a unit 2 hours passed the attendant showed up in a car. Thank God I waited being that I live very far from the storage place and would not have been able to come back during the work week. His excuse was that he was at lunch forgetting that he had told me earlier that he take lunch at 12:30p.m. I thought to myself that sure was a long lunch being that it is after 3:30 p.m. right now. Enough said. I'm happy I got my keys. Thank you Mr. Attendant Guy ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 8250 East Stockton Blvd include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 8250 East Stockton Blvd start from $40 and can go up to $204 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
