I started renting a unit at Central Rocklin Self Storage in 2015 when I was leaving a bad situation. The management has been nothing but kind and professional with me over the past 7 years I've been with them- they even replaced my bad lock for free one year when they noticed the one I was using was faulty. The storage area also has always been clean and well kept. I finally cleared out my unit yesterday, and I'm very thankful for my experience here! ... Read more

I've rented a unit from this facility for years with no problems and used to love coming here back when Bob and his brother (who I assume was also named Bob) managed the place. The Bobs were both courteous and kept the place clean at all times. The reason I am only giving one star is because they recently contracted out the management of this facility to a fella named "Patrick," and I could not be more displeased with Patrick's lack of professionalism, displays of aggression, and questionable integrity. Unfortunately, this dubious character is the reason I felt it was necessary to cancel the lease of my storage shed in October 2018. When the Bobs come to their senses and replace Patrick with a professional, I would definitely consider bringing my business back here. Until then, stay away from this place. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Central Rocklin Self Storage - 4267 Rocklin Road include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Enclosed, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 500 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Central Rocklin Self Storage - 4267 Rocklin Road start from $45 and can go up to $450 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
