I'm an RV 5th wheel owner I do not recommend this storage facility. On February 2024, I discovered my 2014 Cougar 40 ft. 5th wheel had been stolen. Apparently, it was stolen early December of 2023 my storage spot was empty for almost 3 months and no one from the storage facility called me to notify me if I was ok or if I was coming back. This facility appeared to be secured but it is not a secured facility. They have a night watchman, video cameras that only hold 3 days then it records over, the gate requires a code, but the general public must have the code to go in and out. The property owners did not show any concern about my RV being stolen. We asked them to reimburse us for the two months we didn't park there, and we got no response. The have ghosted us and they don't answer letters and or the phone. ... Read more

The manager|owner is a drunk and put his hands up my dress. Very rude. My boyfriend at the time had a storage unit with them but after the owner laid hands on me and got caught by his son they up and empty our storage unit in the night. All of our belonging were taken away. Dont know where it went just wanted us gone. ... Read more

Sexual advances At first the people seemed to be great . I will say the employees are very nice and helpful. Like to say that the owners wife was nice and great pricing for the storage units. Although did have problems with the owners husband Henery who seemed to be nice at first but made advances towards me several times over the couple of months being there..more and more strong drunken advances being put strongly on me as time went on .The answer to that problem was me telling him no I guess wasn't the right one because I was given 2 hours to move out or my belonging would be thrown away. Well on Easter Sunday they did just that loaded up my things and drove off to get them out of there. To this day I have not gotten any of it back. The storage unit ignors it like I wasn't a playing customer. Do I don't recommend this storage facility. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Alamo Storage - 4110 Alamo Street include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
