Big difference between regular storages and stor it. They offer clean units with really good security systems, you have access to water, restroom and they also let you use there truck to move all your stuff for a lot of hours with no charge, you just got to put the gas you used, provide your driver license and car insurance. ???? And they have Debbie, the best manager ever! Debbie will make you feel like family as soon as you walk in to there office. Debbie is that fun and sweetest aunt you never had she’ll help you with anything you need and answer all your questions. We love you Debbie! ???? ... Read more

It’s time to move…these four words can be detrimental to a person’s psyche especially when you’re faced with having to put all your cherished memories in storage. Everything you love in life all your worldly possessions being left behind in someone else’s care. This was exactly my situation a few weeks ago when I accepted a job opportunity out of town and started looking for the best place to store my life. I put out a few calls in the morning to local storage companies leaving messages and in no time at all I received a call back from Debbie Berkovich at Stor It – Sierra. My conversation with Debbie made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed because it was as if I was talking with an old friend rather than a typical sells call. I agreed to come in later that afternoon and have a look around plus discuss my storage needs. When I met Debbie in person, the longtime friend I imagined from our phone conversation was exactly who she was. It felt like home just walking into the office because of the warmth, personality, her ability to connect/relate and the level of engagement she was able to show me with no effort on her part. After our time in the office, we went on a tour of the property and let me say it was the cleanest, safest, securest place I’ve ever seen. I knew my memories would be in a good place until I could return later. If you’re reading this review and need a place to look after the things you love most outside of family and friends, then please give Debbie a call and schedule an appointment. She will take excellent care of you and your belongings. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Stor It Self Storage - 169 West Gibbons Avenue include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 600 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Stor It Self Storage - 169 West Gibbons Avenue start from $31 and can go up to $166 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
