This facility is immaculate! The property manager was incredibly friendly, great to work with, and clearly takes pride in her role and her facility. I rented my space online months ago, and the manager reached out to me on multiple occassions to ensure I still wanted the space, and offered her assistance as needed. When I finaly made it in, she helped me locate my unit, showed me how to access the building, the elevator, and my floor, and was great to work with. The climate control works well, and the hallways, elevator, and lobby of the building and the office were incredibly clean. I highly recommend this facility if you need to store your things. ... We left our stuff in this public storage 4 years ago. Besides just a little dust on top of the boxes, everything was in pristine condition when we went to get it. Move in and move out was a breeze. The property manager (I assume is Leanna) is superb, she returns our call immediately and confirmed everything and is so polite. Public storage should pay her well, she is extremely competent and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you! ... Read more

The photos and the location on this storage place were great!!! Then I read the reviews on yelp, they were some horrible reviews!!! Then I noticed the reviews were a few years back, 2009-2018. I called the office to inquire on the details and was greeted with a very friendly calm reassuring informative voice of Vahe. He was very patient and helpful with all my questions and I did call him numerous times. (That was back in April) I checked out this location in person and noticed its tidiness and the security features accessing the main doors with a code and also the elevators with personal ID codes. Since May the automatic coded security doors where continuously breaking down, but there was always a maintenance man doing his best to fix the issue. I was grateful for the 2nd security feature of the 2 elevators going up to the storage units that seems to always be working. They always have multiple FREE large 4 wheeled cargo carts to assist all their clients in moving items from their cars up to the storage units. The building is kept at a cool comfortable climate and there are sufficient movement sensor lights down each hallway to access your path as you make your way to your specific unit. Since 2019, July/August, the front coded security doors have been fixed, the coded security pads for the 2 elevator has been updated/replaced. There are now security camera at all 5 floors to capture who enters on and exits off the elevators. (I'm sure there are more cameras located elsewhere but I'm not certain.) The security monitors are located in the office facing the staff, to observe the traffic. (This was a change from before) The monitors used to be behind the office staff, so the no one would even pay attention to the screens. The office has been revamped/updated and the monitors are in front of the workers, which makes more sense! Another feature that I really like is that the elevators shut down by 6:00 PM, no one can go up or go down. I've only used the front stairwell and it was clean, wide and sufficiently lighted. I'm assuming that the back stairwell has the same upkeep. Since I've used this location I have not heard of any break-ins or robbery, which is such a relief. The staff ,Vahe and Jennifer, are ALWAYS showing excellent customer service; friendly, patient and accommodating with their time. I would recommend this location with 5 stars!!! ... Read more

Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 190 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 2773 East Colorado Blvd start from $144 and can go up to $531 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
