Read some helpful reviews of Go Store It at 15932 Minnesota Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. DO NOT TRUST THIS FACILITY WITH YOUR BELONGINGS. Our experience with this storage facility has been beyond disappointing. We trusted them with our personal belongings, sentimental wedding items, and even medical equipment related to my husband’s treatment. We never imagined that employees would enter our unit, move our belongings, and then attempt to put the responsibility on us. We rented our unit through Madison, who represented herself as a manager. Later, we dealt with Adrian, who also presented himself as a manager. Our belongings were apparently accessed and moved without our knowledge or permission. When we first discovered what had happened, we were initially told that another customer had broken into our unit. We later received a completely different explanation: Adrian told us that he had been instructed by his district manager to enter our unit and move our belongings into another customer’s unit because they believed our belongings belonged to someone else. Let that sink in. Our belongings were moved without our knowledge, without our permission, and without anyone properly verifying that the property actually belonged to the other customer. Now, instead of taking full responsibility for what happened, they are trying to blame us and telling us to use OUR OWN INSURANCE to recover our losses. Why should we have to use our personal insurance for a situation caused by the actions of the facility and its employees? This wasn’t just furniture or random household property. We had wedding gifts, our wedding guest book, sentimental items, photographs/frames, and medical equipment related to my husband’s CANCER treatment. Some of these things have enormous sentimental and personal value and cannot simply be replaced. What makes this even worse is the lack of accountability. We were promised that management and the district manager would contact us and provide a solution. We waited. We followed up. We gave them opportunities to make this right. Instead, we were met with delays, conflicting explanations, and ultimately an attempt to shift the responsibility onto us. Customers should not have to worry about employees entering their units and moving their belongings without their knowledge. And when something goes wrong, customers should not have to fight just to get management to take responsibility. We trusted this facility with our property. That trust was completely broken. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this facility ask very serious questions about who has access to their unit, how belongings are verified before being moved, and what the company will actually do if their employees make a mistake. We are extremely disappointed and will not simply accept being blamed for something we did not cause. ... Read more

Luis was our first person of contact. Very helpful, polite, and nice and informative from the first question to the last. Facility is very clean. They have several floors and elevators are quick. Few carts to help move items. Customer service is excellent. I almost don't want to leave a great review because I don't want everyone to flock here. Move in special when I rented was great and the6 have restrooms and other locations. As always be cautious, and safe. So quite it was spooky. I am recommending this place and I will do another review later. Give Luis a pay increase. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Go Store It - 15932 Minnesota Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Go Store It - 15932 Minnesota Avenue start from $124 and can go up to $657 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
