I arrived just in time at 5:40pm to a locked office door. The man inside begrudgingly came and let me in, did not introduce himself at all and I still don't know his name he told me he was the only one working there for the past two weeks and he closes early because he has a 15 minute checklist that he needs to go through before he leaves. So even though the time says open until 6 PM they actually close at like 540. I'm not a complicated person I'm not a take a long time kind of guy so I was fully prepared to just sign some documents and be on my way. I knew it was close to closing time and I wasn't going to take up this man's time more than like three minutes, but instead he had to sit me down at his desk as if I was a student in trouble and proceed to dump on me about how he's the only one that's there and even though I was told by the Customer Service people over the phone to just come in to discuss a lock situation (cause you need a super special cylinder lock which they alone have the master key to which I don't find comforting at all and so I attached two of my own locks to my unit.) apparently I should have known beforehand not to listen to the Customer Service people over the phone which he proceeded to drill me about as well.
At this point I had had about enough and I was just wanting to move into my unit and get things started so my patience had worn thin and I finally cut this man off and I said "OK what do I need to do to just move in right now" and he told me that I could sit in my car out in the 110° heat and do everything online because he has a 15 minute checklist that he has to do and he needed to start it so he can leave.
I was completely insulted but it gets worse I went outside and started a little online check-in thing which I would've done beforehand again had the person over the phone at Customer Service not told me to "just come in" to see if I can get the lock price which was $20 to get removed so while I was doing this online out in my car and the 110 to reheat which was about to die, the move-in special of 50% off suddenly disappeared as you can probably guess I was pretty distraught and annoyed by this point so I tried calling them it said I was person number one in line and I had zero people ahead of me and that Customer Service would be with me momentarily. I listened to this message and sat there for another 20 minutes while it continued to tell me I was number one in line and zero people ahead of me. During this time I put it on speakerphone and I went online to chat to Customer Service on there which to my dismay was only a basic function AI bot. ** just a quick note to companies you really need to stop putting these bots as your main point of contact and making it so impossible to get a hold of someone these bots are nothing more than redirection hyperlinks with an algorithm meant to direct you to different parts of the website in case you're too stupid to find them on your own. If it was something I could solve on my own I would just do it. You really need to stop Underestimating that everyday Customer and make it more simple to just contact a live person and also by the way making the bot take a couple seconds before it gives its prescriptive algorithm Answer doesn't convince us anymore that it's a Human typing out and Answer, It just infuriates us** off my soapbox. So by the time all was said and done I managed to just work around it open a new browser in incognito mode go back onto the website through back door and manage to find the promotion again and activate it under my name, paid the stupid lock fee because whatever at this point, and moved into my unit.
Oh but I should also add before doing so, I actually had to drive away to go charge my car because this whole process took so long and I had to run the AC the whole time because the 110° heat. ... Read more

The facility is clean, secure, cooled, well lit, and the staff is always helpful. Multiple sizes of storage units. Can be a little pricey but prices come direct from corporate. IMO you get what you pay for but this time it’s a good thing! Kelly (the manager) was super helpful in helping me find the right unit to downsize my three units at other places (how embarrassing, I know) into a bigger one there. This facility is by far the best one I toured in the area. They offer lots of size options and the entire place is visibly well-maintained, clean, and secured.

Kelly was very accommodating and helping during my check in giving him five stars.
Somewhat discerning about what was advertised on the website but being told that rental will double in cost after the initial rate quoted by corporate. The reason I decided to store was a $63.00

Finding an acceptable storage company can be daunting! I’ve moved more than a dozen times in my life, and I have rented at many facilities across the country. These ranged from acceptable to completely disgusting .
But when I discovered the Palm Springs Secure Space Self-Storage, I hit the jackpot of the storage world! Very modern, super clean, bright, well lighted, easy to navigate, safety prioritizing, with access points easy to use, while being very secured. The huge bank of security monitors, cycling constantly throughout the many areas, make it very clear from the desk and lobby that Secure Storage considers your goods their main concern. Renters Beware! The worst customer service I have ever experienced with ANY storage company. Run away. They have no customer service whatsoever. Boss/supervisor of reservation dept whose name is Shaylin, but is never able to get a hold of by phone. She has been in training 2 weeks! Her supervisor is non-existent. Don’t hold your breath waiting to resolve a credit i have waited 2 weeks for! The Palm Springs manager was of no help. When asked for corporate headquarters phone # he said he didn’t know it! Honestly. Keys: reservations said you can bring your own and they will reimburse you the $19.99 they charge reserving unit. However not true. They have a master key to all units… so you have to purchase their keys only Ridiculous Admin fee too! Never moved in, never saw the unit.. and still waiting Monday will be 3 weeks for a manager to refund my money… This place is HORRIBLE. Believe me. Go somewhere else!!! ... Read more

I used this secure storage place to park my new travel trailer. The facilities are all new and wonderful. The prices are very reasonable. They are large and easy to maneuver. We just found this perfect storage facility for our RV. It's brand new, roofed, paved, and, above all, in Palm Springs. We had ours at DHS, but due to the weather, we sometimes had trouble picking it up or dropping it off because the access roads were blocked. I had a great experience with the live customer service rep, Jimmy. Great, kind, and professional guy. Very helpful and patient. While we discovered (a day later) that my initial storage unit had a modest issue (which I'm sure they'll resolve), after some rapid processing a few days later, they got me into another even better same-sized unit for a similar price on the same floor.
