At site, a loud alarm went off unprovoked 4 times in the span of 10 minutes. Highly unpleasant place to visit. I received a personal voicemail from A-1. I called back and left my number on voicemail. I haven't heard anything from them in 2 weeks. Everytime I think this thing is resolved, it goes off again, and again, and again. ... Read more

I’ve never rented a storage unit before and unexpectedly had to move out of our large home. I called A-1 and spoke to Nae who was super helpful in explaining my options. On move day, I arrived ahead of the movers to make sure everything was a go ( I don’t know why I was nervous lol) and she explained the process in great detail and put me at ease. The facility was very clean and the unit was perfect. I recommend…10/10! ... Read more

The two folks who helped us, Lena (?) and someone whose name started with A I believe, were so incredibly helpful, efficient and welcoming. We came near office closing time to pickup our keys and they made it fast and easy., and taught us how to use the type of lock. I would 100% recommend A-1 storage high street for office interactions. Thank you for making a difficult moving process easier! I would also add the music playing was very fun and the dollies provided were very helpful and worked well, and everything was clean and orderly. ... Read more

I came to A-1 storage after several break-ins to my unit at Extra Space storage. I was greeted by two two warm and welcoming employees named Jamila and Iyonna. They found me a unit at an incredible price for its size and will reserve it for seven days giving me the time I need to think it over but I'm pretty sold. ... Read more

I had an excellent experience with A-1 Self Storage! Thank you for great customer service. We used their service for about 9 months. My items do not appear damaged or harmed in any way. There is some dust on the boxes but that is to be expected since the units are not Air Tight. I would use them again. The neighborhood is depressed but the fencing and gates are well maintained! Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at A-1 Self Storage - 301 High Street include the following amenities: Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by A-1 Self Storage - 301 High Street start from $48 and can go up to $580 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
