Came in today to prepare for a big move out of the city. On top of everything going on it has been very hectic. Valentine has been at the desk for a long time. He was there when I first moved back to the city in 2020 and I rented with them for a couple years. His professionalism and welcoming demeanor have made this place an island to rest on in the midsts of long journeys. Thank you Valentine for always being on top of things and being so polite and professional. Also thank you A-1 storage for being safe, clean, and convenient. Definitely recommend. ... Read more

Very clean space with low rates and superlative staff committed to an excellent customer experience! Needed storage space suddenly for our things when one property closed escrow early and the property we were moving to had delays. Staff went out of their way to help us - offering reasonable rates and an immaculate storage space. The process was quick, easy and smooth from open to close out!! This team has my highest recommendation. Check them out! ... Read more

Storage units available at A-1 Self Storage - 5310 Vineland Avenue include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by A-1 Self Storage - 5310 Vineland Avenue start from $120 and can go up to $770 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
