There are two Golden State Storage locations close to where I needed a storage service. I called the one slightly closer to me (I won't name that location). The guy on the phone was somewhat rude and practically hung up on me as I asked some questions. So, not wanting to do any business with that 1st introduction, I searched for another storage location. That's when I found Golden State Storage on Sepulveda. I am so happy I did. When I spoke to Peggy, she was kind and friendly. She gave me all the information I needed without any problems. She had all the paperwork ready for me to sign the next business day. I met Sarah who was also amazing. I purchased a lock from them and was shown my storage unit. It was a simple and easy process. This facility just had some renovations completed which included a new security system, repainted office and a new rolling door on my unit. I am very pleased with the 4 months I have kept my belongings in this facility. Peggy and Sarah are true professional and run a great ship. They helped me thru a difficult time in my life as I transitioned from one place to another. I am happy to write this review and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for someplace to store their belongings long or short term. ... Read more

Brian is a true professional, helpful and very knowledgeable on storage unit information & very kind to provide me important information/guidance on other topics as well. Brian and Peggy have amazing energy and are very friendly! I got a good economical unit for my belongings, the units are clean, easy access in/out of the storage area & their security cameras are excellent. I feel safe here. I am super happy to have found Golden State Storage! After 11 years in another facility and 2 break ins/robberies, and after ridiculous price increases more than yearly, I was ready to make a change. Golden State Storage is easily accessible, and one of the best things about them is that they have hi def cameras EVERYWHERE. Very secure feeling. And their storage rates are very fair and far lower than my previous storage facility. I think the best part so far is that the manager Brian is a straight up honest guy who seems very invested in giving you the best customer experience that he can. He’s super friendly and professional, and made me feel like it actually is important to him that I have chosen them for my storage needs. My move in could not have gone any smoother!
