Excellent experience. Manager called me back when my space became available. She told me (no other self storage did) that the space i was considering wouldn't work for my car. She knows her stuff and is trying to help. A good combination for sure. ... Read more

I like to thank Dawn for helping me get a box for my belongings and explaining the process. She is such a wonderful and friendly person. She made me feel at home the minute I stepped in to her office. I also like to thank her colleagues at Overlake and Cynthia at Dyre and Whipple. They all cooperated to find the right box-size at the right place. This was a collaborative effort that proves Public Storage is a tight network from beginning to finish. ... Read more

SCAM I rented with them for a few months, and then after I moved out they kept charging me. After I called them to fix it, they tried to tell me that I hadn't taken "my" lock off, but I left it inside the storage unit as instructed because it was their lock. Not only did I not get my $50 lock deposit back, they CHANGED my move out date to more than a month after I moved out and continued trying to charge me, and didn't answer my calls when I left a message. Now I'm getting calls from a collection agency because they can't figure their lives out. This place is ridiculous and is run by people who are either scammers or are just stupid. Don't rent from them, it's not worth the lower price because they'll charge you for services they didn't render. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 37444 Cedar Blvd include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 30 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 37444 Cedar Blvd start from $68 and can go up to $399 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
