I liked the on-line process to rent a Public Storage unit. However, how do you talk to a real person? I did not need the lock that was charged to my account and left in the unit. I went to the office, and no one is there and there are no listed office hours. I called the number on the door, and no one has called me back. Wow, what a difference from years ago. There was a person at the location that you could talk to! And now? Who knows. Making a phone call is fine until no one calls you back! What happened Public Storage!?! ... Read more

I rented 10*20 feet So 1 first month free only you got to paid $20 lock ?? ,fees insurance and etc $60. Them supposed to be $119 2 second month so I paid for sure, them they said 10 days later I have to pay $418 because the rent is $398 plus insurance Todo $418 and late fee $60 because I don't know. I called them because I paid everything but they can take off that $60 fee. So I paid and took all my staff to another storage. Sometimes the problem is not the company if no the people is in front of desk and they didn't know how to talk and give a good service. For that reason just only I'm going to give 3 star. Thanks ???? ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 1040 Terra Bella Avenue include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 140 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 1040 Terra Bella Avenue start from $135 and can go up to $430 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
