Kaydi Munoz was an incredible customer service representative! When my online order for 24/7 access incorrectly assigned me to the Montclair location, Kaydi quickly resolved the issue by ensuring I received a full refund and facilitated a quick transfer to Public Storage’s 24/7 Covina location where her co-worker Nicole provided prompt account activation, so my move occurred smoothly. Kaydi performed like a ROCKSTAR ??????? ... Read more

Forgot to add 2 guys in the L wing went inside with Roach raid bombs/spray and went inside the L wing adjacent to the unit I bought #K127. Just a little added measure if your home is filled with roaches later on you know why. That would be the west corner of the storages. This public storage representative says 6am opening with records screenshots.Thousands of dollars worth of material sitting out came here at 7:15 a.m. with my gate code*446238# came to do a dump I have electronic material to the side person at the office tells me they don't open till 9:30 there was already customers inside their website on Google says they open at 6:00 a.m. Richard the "General manager"told me I would have to wait till 9:30 the person inside is being passive aggressive. Don't take your stuff here if you want to hassle I've lost my storage auction account because I'm more of a monetary hole than waiting for opening up at 9:30 while he sits on his laptop and calls storage auction website. I'm at loss for Montclair from all the poop sandwiches being served out here. Receipt for dump about 1/2 mile away idk family be careful where you put your valuables. God speed! Lady with customer service advising that they have opening at 6am....great thing I took pictures because it's my word vs theres again the end of the day. Review the post systems that run us and don't let them have any leeway. These people are crazy I entered the facility and gathered belongings prior to this incident. Too bad I had to take a flight and am answering this in Baja California. ... Read more

My husband and I stopped at our storage unit 15 minutes before closing to pick up an item and we were out of the gates by 4:55pm. As we were walking out of our storage unit a pale, huge, turquoise haired lady approached us with a horrible snarky attitude and told us that the property closes at 5pm. We let her know we were on our way out and she drove off in her golf cart. Not once did she greet us. As we were leaving the gate we met our friend right outside the gate to give them the crib that we had gone to our storage unit for. That same lady comes running out of the front door screaming at us to get off the property and that we couldn’t be “selling” on property. Not once did she speak to us like humans or even ask if we were “selling” anything, she just assumed. She embarrassed us in front of our friends and treated us so poorly. My husband and I are baffled at how disgusting and poorly we were treated. As we were leaving we also saw her yelling at another customer, an older gentleman might I add. I hope that this lady is reprimanded for her actions so she never treats any other customer that way. ... Read more

I hate public storage especially this one first of all hours are very limited 9:30 am to 6 pm oh and the weekends they close at five these are the only times you can access your unit. Ridiculous!!! and the price that they charge is also ridiculous. You may get a good price when you first rent out your unit but then they decide to raise the price at their convenience. I went from paying 120$ to now paying 165$ they don’t even give you notice ahead of time that they’re gonna raise your rent. The only thing I like about this Public Storage is where they’re located. Other than that I can’t wait to get my stuff out of this unit and I will never store with Public Storage again. Trojan storage had way better prices And they never raise your price Another thing you would think they would have a better app to opening their gate, but it’s also never working Properly, I don’t know if this is due to their App or their Wi-Fi but it always seems to have issues. Super annoyed with Public Storage it’s Saturday morning and I’m sitting here waiting for them to open ... Read more

Easy to rent and even easier to close out our storage space. We needed temporary storage of a small amount of stuff for our out of state move and it was so easy to get a quote, sign up, and get our stuff in. When we were ready to leave about two weeks ago, I simply used the app to schedule move out and got to it. We loaded up and cleaned out and just because I wanted to double check, I stopped in the office on our way out to connect with a staff member and she confirmed we were all set. The easiest process overall. Great job, Public Storage Montclair! ... Read more

I was looking for a Storage very last minute came into this location, and Katie was extremely helpful and let me know all my options. The one thing that I love about her customer service is I didn’t feel like she was trying to sell me on anything she was letting me know all the information without really making me feel like I was forced to make a decision right then and there Katie by far has the most approachable personalities and such an amazing person you could really tell that she loves her job and goes out of her way to really help you. I definitely feel good about storing here highly recommend this location. Come see Katie. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 4026 Mission Blvd include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 4026 Mission Blvd start from $47 and can go up to $667 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
