I came to property today, and WOW it is so clean. Nothing like the storage facilities I seen today around the areas. I was helped by this wonderful lady named Elizabeth. Very helpful and kind. She explained everything I needed to know about renting a storage. As I was just browsing before I head back to Kansas. I just wanted to some sizing. Elizabeth was tons of help!!! ... Read more

This place is a complete scam. I was told the unit would only cost $30, but the second I signed the agreement I was slammed with a $204 balance that nobody bothered to explain beforehand. When I tried to get answers, the customer service rep was not only useless but also rude and dismissive. They clearly don’t care about customers, only about tricking people into hidden fees. Stay far away from this storage facility unless you want to be lied to, overcharged, and treated with zero respect. ... Read more

Tangela was incredible! Helpful above and beyond her job. She helped me negotiate all the details to find the right unit, get the app…actually USE the app! I couldn’t have figured it all out as painlessly as she made it. Great experience for me. ... Read more

Specifically want to give a shoutout to Sailboat who helped me yesterday. He was so incredibly helpful and found out he was subbing in from another property, which explained why I had experienced issues the previous week trying to find a human to move out. Had he been managing the property previously, I may not have chosen to move to another facility. ... Read more

Service: Excellent Price: pretty high for small sizes Access: Great I was able to meet the manager Tangela prior to renting. I shopped a few nearby locations before making my final choice. I choice the Airdrome location because of the remarkable service I received. One location was closed, the other was very smelly and old looking. I had a worker tell me that I needed to schedule an appointment to see a storage unit and I was standing right in their office!? Tangela took care of me from the beginning and gave me more information and even showed me a few different size storage units. ... Read more

Storage units available at Public Storage - 5570 Airdrome Street include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 162 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 5570 Airdrome Street start from $188 and can go up to $490 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
