I reserved a unit online. I paid the fees to have the reservation ready to go for move in. I was charged the lock fee. But there was no lock for the storage unit only a zip tie. I don't want to remove the zip tie off of it since I am not sure if I can. I tried contacting the office three times. It is hard to connect with an office staff on 3/7. I attempted to call them also on 3/6 as well. I went in person to communicate to staff in person 3/6 and again 3/7. Im preparing to move stuff on 3/8. I cant reach anyone in the office. It has been locked and closed the two times ive made attempts. Supposedly my rental was ready today 3/7 according to the email I recieved. It was not ready. No one in office to speak to. No answer on the phone only to leave messages and ill get a call back. No response. Zip tie in unit and no way to obtain the paid lock per the online rental agreement. ... Read more

Don’t you love it when you enter a place thinking you’re going to have just a basic transactional experience and the person working just takes it a level higher! Daniel was awesome in properly showing me the spaces and taking the time to explain to me, someone that doesn’t know much about storage, the details. Much appreciated really great experience. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 4583 Huntington Drive include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 4583 Huntington Drive start from $119 and can go up to $614 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
